That doesn't mean anything. They like to have many options.
I highly doubt it will be all-star, or anything close. Robyn Kass is straight up shutting that idea down and making people feel stupid on twitter; I don't think she'd be posting so many updates getting people to apply otherwise.
Has anyone here ever tried out for BB? I'm strongly considering it.
Also, I would LOVE for this years twist to be like BB Australia where the house is dived in two by a wall.

Lol!! Awesome
And yeah I tried out last year, it was actually really fun and not a bad way to kill an afternoon. I'll prob try again this time around, you should check it out if there's a casting location near you.
Also dat Twist, didn't know the Aussies did that, I wouldn't mind seeing that

I think I'm gonna send in a video online of footage from tough mudder, running with the bulls, and my awesome karaoke skills. The vids for bb seem rather simple compared to the ones RW wants.
And yeah, the house was split like 70/30. I also wouldn't mind doing like a ANTM British Invasion theme (someone mentioned this for RW) with 10 Americans and maybe 5 Brits.
No matter what I definitely think we'll get returning houseguests after last season's disaster. I've heard they might wanna capitalize off of Survivor's success with BVW. I could easily see Elissa/Rachel as partners for that format.

It will be an all stars or something very close to that. I would be genuinely surprised if they have changed their mind that much. They were 100% before Christmas. CBS does gave the final word in casting though, so that could change.
I wholeheartedly disagree. Maybe one or two returning, but they will defiantly be casting newbies people from the first two calls are already getting second interviews. To think otherwise after all of the casting team are avidly telling people to try out .... Is kinda dumb IMO
There will be more than 1 or 2 returning HGs. It's almost a guarantee after BB15. BB All Stars also had casting calls open and such.
On a side-note, I wish they'd give us an All Stars season already. You have a bunch of people who'd be great to see again. I think at least we'll see Amanda and Rachel back in the house, lol.

What was so bad about BB15? I liked it :(

BB15 was fine as a television show. The problem is that the live feeds were terrible and most of the people didn't understand how to use the Diary Room to convey their strategy.

I thought it was great for the first two weeks, then got boring, then got interesting again once Elissa won HOH, and then became terrible after Amanda/Elissa were evicted. I mean, the gameplay was good, but a majority of them were unlikable and the voting with the house was a bore. I do wanna see Amanda return again.

It's not about disagreeing or agreeing lol. I was telling you what was the plan as of December,

I read your comment wrong, my bad.
Why doesn't the us version get a launch episode as grand as other countries
I would love another allstars. At this point I could care less what they do with BB as long as it isn't anything like BB15. I even want them to change the stage back to how it was, and have the audience behind Julie. I don't want anything to remind me of that atrocity. I never imagined i'd literally hate 90% of the cast. smh

I don't want any all stars because the people they are going to pick are always the same. I love the new stage set up. EVERY other country does it that way, the old way made it seem outdated comard to everyone else. Like just look at any BB Canada, Australia, or UK episode online; they're all great.
I agree about the stage. Andy's win felt even more underwhelming without seeing the actual crowd reaction. I'd still love an All-Stars just because they have so many people from BB10-15 they can use. Keesha, Libra, Memphis, Kevin, Michele, Michelle (BB10), Hayden, Ian, Frank, Amanda. Of course they'll have their favorite HGs back like Rachel, Jeff, etc. but overall an All-Stars would be great. I'd also love to see Danielle Donato back.
Also, just checked and the premiere is on the 25th of June. Looks like 16 HGs again.
The only way I will be fine with returning houseguests would be if it's All-Stars (which I think should be in the winter so we have a season with new people, or vice versa) or if it were a Blood vs Water type thing.
I'm usually on the "hate returning contestants" bandwagon but after last season i'm just over newbies. It's too risky LOL. As long as they don't bring back 3 peaters (Jeff, Rachel, ****) then i'm totally fine with returning players (preferablly allstars and not half and half but i'd still prefer that to newbies at this point).
Clearly BBUSA casting aka Robyn K. doesn't know how to cast for the US version. 15 cast was horrible. 14 cast was very generic and I found it very hard to root for anyone. I'm just so over it and their predictable casting types. "The one with the tattoos. The token sassy black girl. The token blonde"
instead of just casting for personalities and purposely casting like 1 asian to be like "omg look everyone an asian the cast is so diverse this year!! See?!?!" not.

I thought 15 had some decent personalities with Amanda, Judd, Candice, and the mean girls. The rest have been pretty bad starting with BB12 (excluding Britney).
Well season 16 is a newbie season so the best y'all can hope for are returning HGs (which I already stated my disdain for). It's anti-climactic. Why does the twist always have to involve bringing people back? that's lame. I'm getting the hint that most people only watch BBUSA. The Australia and UK versions have had amazing twist over the years WITHOUT bringing people back to compete again..and again..
Robyn also cast BBCanada and while they do fall into the typecast stereotypes by their looks, that cast is very diverse.
What im scared is going to happen is that since season 15 was so controversial, we'll get a boring cast for 16.
I'll be totally shocked if we get an 100% newbie cast again, given how last year went. I wouldn't mind it, just would be surprised. I actually think while controversial, BB15 was one of the most boring seasons.

There's no way it's all new people.
The family twist was mentioned (with vets.)
Does anyone know if they did casting calls season 7??

Semi finals calls start In april lol. casting calls are almost done. So I'd say it's all newbies.

I just really don't think they are going to do all new people again. It would really surprise me. I think they also cut casting calls and the length on the casting process. They go beyond to cover things up. Just throwing it out there.

Its the same about of calls and length as last season.
apart from this website, the majority of people are not in favor of all stars 2 or returning houseguests just by recent post on other sites. it's just a tired, old format. we need something fresh and exciting

The casual viewer, which makes up the majority of viewers, wants people to return...people they love

This was going to be all stars 2 as of Christmas. I swear to you. I know it for a fact. They like to keep their options open. They talk and plan out twists, returning houseguests, new houseguests for months.
