How was this not an amazing episode?
The HOH was completely blindsided, the guy everyone though was going home less than 30 hours ago stayed and the biggest ally of that HOH went home.
If it was reversed and the other side had the HOH this week everyone would have been thrilled
This isn't a game about who you like--this is a game. Everyone that leaves deserves to leave.
Zach staying and blindsiding the HOH was amazing. Caleb throwing either Nicole or Hayden out was predicable.

What is wrong with a predictable move?
They sure as hell weren't expecting it...nor was the average viewer

Nothing is wrong with it. You were wondering why people didn't view this episode as amazing.
Nothing is wrong with it. You were wondering why people didn't view this episode as amazing.
Because they have unrealistic expectations and don't appreciate game play. I'm not wondering why--I think it is absurd.
Putting up Frankie and Victoria means Victoria leaves...she's screwed
With 2 HOHs that theory doesn't work and with 1 HOH you're screwed the next week
You can't win this game alone...not since the Veto came into play in Season 3
Sometimes I feel like no one watches the show
Victoria leaving is dependent on who the other side nominates and also POV, you don't know what'll happen with that. And your right you can't win the game alone but when there are only 2 people outside of an alliance common sense and history has shown the alliance will turn on each either rather than evict the last 2 people outside of the alliance. So yea I've watched the show and know the strategies.

Nicole & Donny making up the other alliance is why you're wrong here. Both are strong enough to be considered threats.
If it was Jacosta & Joey then maybe you'd be right.
The way things look Nicole & Donny are screwed unless they both win HOH because the Detonators have the numbers and whoever they want gone will be gone. That being said I wouldn't be surprised Donny isn't the next person out because he plays such a "stubborn" game and I can see Frankie & Derrick voting him out because he has cost them each $5,000 I could definitely see that coming into play this week

I don't think hoping Donny/Hayden winning that HOH was unrealistic. I think many viewers anticipate crazy phenomenon occuring on double eviction night. Remember Eric leaving right after Jessica in BB8. No one saw that coming. Jeff and his clown shoe, BB13. I think that really set the standards for double eviction. Frank surviving DE BB14. Judd BB15, not to mention Andy's (not his biggest fan) freak out the second double eviction. The viewers anticipate madness on DE nights. So Caleb winning and gently splitting up Hayden and Nicole because people told him to wasn't stimulating to watch.

Not necessarily with 2 HOH and 4 nominees, there are only 3 people outside of the alliance so things will get interesting. You have to figure they will split up Nicole and DOnny in nominations, but they just have to worry that one of them will win POV because then they are screwed.
Any thoughts on how jury members will be brought back into the house??
And my god, Zach staying tonight leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'm gonna sleep like ****.

When you're expecting the minority to win that's unrealistic. How did no one see Eric leaving after Jessica? Even Eric saw that once Jessica walked out.
Jeff screwed himself by not working with Dani--he deserved that
I thought tonight's double was better than any of those other than Season 8--you just are basing things on who you like IMO
We saw great game play tonight and people are still unhappy--just insane
Best case scenario: Donny and Nicole get put up together win BOB, Victoria leaves (or a Fail Squad, whatever). Then Donny and Nicole win HOH together. This house needs a shake up. If a Fail Squad-er is going to win the whole thing it would be at least interesting to them them survive some evictions and then win instead of sailing to the end without enduring a bit of fire from the other side.

Let's say...Frankie & Cody win HOH
Frankie puts up Nicole/Victoria & Cody puts up Donny/Zach
Donny & Zach win...Nicole wins HOH...Victoria goes home
Nicole & Victoria win...Donny wins HOH...Caleb goes home

But we didn't see good gameplay, which scenario is better Zach and Hayden in jury or Jocasta and Hayden in jury. If you want to win the game the first one if infinitely better.
But we didn't see good gameplay, which scenario is better Zach and Hayden in jury or Jocasta and Hayden in jury. If you want to win the game the first one if infinitely better.
No, it isn't because Zach isn't a threat--he's just a number. This is simple math
Let's say...Frankie & Cody win HOH

Donny & Zach win...Nicole wins HOH...Victoria goes home
Nicole & Victoria win...Donny wins HOH...Caleb goes home
That's a lot of HOH's but I was simply pointing the fact that they are going to have to nominate one of their alliance members and also hope Victoria doesn't somehow when BoB and Donny/nicole Don't win POV
But we didn't see good gameplay, which scenario is better Zach and Hayden in jury or Jocasta and Hayden in jury. If you want to win the game the first one if infinitely better.
Agreed, even with Zach gone the numbers are still well enough in their favor, and honestly if I were in that house I'd want Jocasta in the FInal 2/3 with me. This whole numbers excuse is bull****. Zach in final 6 beasting and getting HOH/POV > Jocasta beasting and getting HOH/POV final 6.

FALSE. I like Eric. Liked Jeff. Thought Frank was playing a decent game. Thought Judd was okay. Elissa, whatever. I don't even like Andy as a player and I rank his annoying freakout at the DE rather high as far as DE go. I don't watch BB to root for my favorites and get pissy when they lose. I watch Big Brother for the power struggle and if people are chilling and enjoying their 3 month vacation without being under fire by their competitors, it bugs me. Caleb survived some evictions, Zach as well. Everyone else on that side, not so much. Saying people are playing a great game without them coming back from the brink of evictions is absurd. Never being nominated: good, actually playing AND surviving: great.
No, it isn't because Zach isn't a threat--he's just a number. This is simple math
Yes because there is a huge difference between 7 v 3 and 8 v 2.
Yeah I can't shake the feeling that Derrick/Cody/Frankie are gonna skate on through without ever seeing the block. I just wish BB would cast a season of real players and not worthless recruits and Jocastas.
That's a lot of HOH's but I was simply pointing the fact that they are going to have to nominate one of their alliance members and also hope Victoria doesn't somehow when BoB and Donny/nicole Don't win POV
When you have the numbers it doesn't matter if you have to nominate one of your own.
Do you really think anyone other than Caleb cares if Caleb goes home?

I'm afraid they will. I do blame casting for scooping up commodities like the Jocasta's, Victoria's, Jenn City's, Joe's etc who are just a little character and not a player. But then again, I can't really say that because maybe they don't know that those characters are going to be extreme let downs.

But yeah good point... But like serious question has a BB recruit (lookin at you JC) ever been good at the game?? I as a viewer want to see this game played to the best of it's ability. Choosing HGs with ZERO clue on how his is done is infuriating. It drives me insane considering the amount of real fans/players that try out.
No, 7 v 3 or 6 vs 4--huge
Even then it doesn't matter one of the six wins HOH nominates 2 of the 4 are nominated the other 4 wins Pov takes down someone the last 4 goes up, one of the 4 leaves. One of the Four wins HOH nominates 2 of the six one of the six wins POV and uses it another six goes up and leaves. Numbers don't matter, if you want a better example look at what Will did in Season 2 After about half the season he never had numbers yet won the entire game.
