Nothing stated was a spoiler--everything said was shown on the "preview" of the rest of the season.
But I couldn't tell if it was CJ so technically it was a spoiler.
Take out CJ and Jonna and I'd agree. CJ just bores the hell out of me and Jonna well, I don't care.
CJ is a pretty good competitor, but yeah..he lacks a little on the personality side. I think Jonna just needs to stop being so extra about love and dating and all that crap so she can focus on the game.

I like CJ and Jonna, they don't care for drama too much and are there to compete. Add on Jasmine who's hilarious, they balance each other out well. I may be a bit biased towards Jonna due to her looks, but I like her.
Jonna's someone that I would like to see time after time. She's a decent competitor, she's a good strategist, she plays the political game--not sure what anyone wants from her. The "drama" with her existed in only one episode so far.
This team has the best chemistry and seems to be working really well together.
I'm impressed.
Brooklyn & Cancun both have great chemistry. I really do like how close Jasmine & Jonna have become--that's a huge change since the beginning of Rivals (even the middle of Rivals).
Are we all in agreement that Jasmine is the new Katie Doyle? **********]
LOL--that's not a bad comparison. Both fiery, small girls that will absolutely try to beat up anyone regardless of how big they are.
Jasmine hasn't had Katie's success yet though--it's a shame they never did a challenge together--wonder if they'd get along or try to kill each other.
Are we all in agreement that Jasmine is the new Katie Doyle? **********]
Yes. And I would like to hope they'd get along if put on the same challenge.

I think we'll have to see once she's on a big team challenge. She might pull off some surprise wins in a game catered to her size like Doyle (maybe, just maybe).
She's not the the strongest clearly but she has some fight in her.

It's reasons like this that I'd wish they'd do the Inferno again. A lot of new players have a shot at making finals even with the top dogs in the game, then they also have a shot at winning. Almost every season of this series has featured a few...
Inferno 1 - Katie (Underdog), Kendal, Christina, (Abram was kinda new), CT
Inferno 2 - Jamie and Landon, Derrick
Inferno 3 - Janelle, Evelyn (first challenge since FM1, her premier)
Yeah, there are rookies that fall to the way side (Ace, Mallory, Leah, Trishelle, Colie, Jenn ect...) It still lets new kids make it to the end and since it's team based more of them have a shot at winning, especially since it's just 4 eliminations each out of 10 same gender players. Over half the players make finals.
I feel Jasmine and Jonna could both win in this format. As well as CJ. These past few formats have been rather exclusive and "every man for himself" that it's been harder for Rookies to shine. In a way it's just gotten too competitive to the point where seasoned vets have an advantage.
Ok seriously, what the hell is with the CJ lovefest lately? I've seen a few people say that CJ's so great at this show, when I haven't seen the guy do jack ****

That's the reason I hate the Inferno--too many people make the finals. Add two elimination rounds so only half make the finals and I would be good with that--four more eliminations would be ideal IMO
A lot of people still don't think it is competitive enough--definitely don't want to make it less competitive IMO. Strong rookies can still do well--Sarah, Emily, Leroy, etc have all proven that. Hell, Jonna & Jasmine did very well in Rivals even with strong competition. CJ picked the wrong side in FM2 but learned a valuable lesson.
CJ clearly won that elimination round, he’s a great competitor, both physically, mentally and emotionally, I mean he’s smart and gracious even in defeat.
It's really sad to see him go.
CJ definitely earned points in everyone's eyes last night. A lot of people (myself included) have just been kinda "eh" about him...looking at him as boring, etc. Last night he showed a lot of heart, character and intelligence in his game along with physical ability. Before last night if you had asked me if I want to see CJ on another challenge I wouldn't have cared one way or the other, but after last night I definitely want to see him again.
I think Jonna's best point is "I thought going in against Zach would be suicide". Any sane person would have thought that. You can bet that any of the strong female strategists on this season (Sarah, Trishelle--that's about it) would have done exactly what Jonna did. It is all about risk/reward. The risk was too high here to take the chance.
Kudos to Jasmine--I gain more respect for her each time I see her--hopefully the retirement talk is untrue.
Jonna couldn't go in against Zach but Devyn manned up went against Big Easy. I don't know. I grew up in an adopted home and I am about to graduate with my BSW. I have a big heart but Jonna makes it very hard to rootfor her.
I still don't mind team Cancun. I guess my issue with them was their alliance with *********.

Going against Big Easy in mental is a lot different than Zach in physical--come on

Its not like she was going in against Zach, CJ was. She was going in against Sam. What I meant had nothing to do with the elminiation round itself but I took her comment as her going in against Zach would frazzle her. Yes I get it, staying away from elimination rounds is the the point of game. However, her saying I need the money because im homeless is a cop out. Anyone can I say, I need the money for my child, I need the money to pay back to student loans, I need the money to get a car. Hell I was almost homeless at one point too. I don't feel sorry for Jonna. She had a better chance against Sam than Jasmine did. Had it been CJ & Jonna, Ashley & Frank, Cancun would have won. Its a shame it didn't happen that way because of out all of the two people teams I think a team of Zach & Sam would have had a good chance at the final, even by themselves (hypothetically speaking)..
This isn't an argument. I just don't feel sorry for her. That was my point I was trying to make.
It sucks that CJ and Jasmine went home...They both went out with Class and I hope to see both of them again on a challenge(I know Jasmine said she's done but I hope she reconsiders.)
Its a shame to see Cancun out, I think they were the only team that actually were a like a family they really supported each other. Props to Jasmine, she stepped up and faced the elimination round and CJ is the kind of competitor you want to see in the challenge, the guy faced the elimination, he didn't complain about it, and I liked what he said about the money coming in second, hope to see him in the next one.

I never implied you had to feel sorry for her. I don't feel sorry for her. It isn't any different than Robin crying constantly about needing the money for her kid. I hope she gets everything figured out but that shouldn't play a role in the game.
What I'm saying is that it is stupid for any girl to volunteer themselves when Zach is going against CJ.
It would like me being on a team with a solid/average girl (let's say Kimberly) knowing that she was going to face someone like Evelyn--why the hell would I volunteer knowing that it looks like suicide on paper. Best case--if I win my round then my fate is determined on a coin-toss. And Sam weighs 40 more pounds than Jonna--Jonna's odds weren't exactly great either. Their mistake was sending in CJ. There was no way Frank was going in--he was never going to volunteer and Brooklyn would have sent in Zach--you never send in the cancer that exists on another team.
Now if it was "Endurance" or even "Strategy" then I would agree that she should have volunteered herself but not in "Physical".

It isn't stupid to volunteer yourself with this format when your team is already going into the Arena (it was stupid for Alton to say put Vegas in though because they weren't already in the Arena). This game has proven to be very favorable for teams of 4 compared to teams of 2. Jonna would have given her team the best chance at remaining 4 strong. She should have either convinced CJ not to go in and that they could do it as a pair without Derek and Jasmine, or gone in with CJ and tried to keep the team as 4 strong. By letting the strongest guy on her team go in with the smallest and weakest girl there, she gave him the worst possible chance of coming back, and hurt her long term gameplan as a result. She got too caught up in viewing the immediate future and did not think about the subsequent missions and eliminations. I would rank her and Derek as the 2nd weakest pair remaining in the game only ahead of JD and Devyn.

Jonna didn't have a good chance to beat Sam and we haven't seen a two person team with its strongest 2 players yet. If Eric & Cara Maria would have left I have little doubt that Brandon & Camila could have put up a good fight.
The mistake was CJ going in--not that Jonna didn't go in. Derek and Jonna aren't a strong pair but Jonna going in wasn't likely to change the result. Except Cancun would have an even weaker pair of Derek & Jasmine
Jonna going in would have been stupid on her part--plain & simple. If this was "strategic" or "endurance" you'd have a valid point
I didn't have a problem with Jonna not going in until I found out she had a pact with Jas that she would the Hall Brawl elimination. She's just as weak as Frank in my book now. I'm all for avoiding elimination if possible, but when you give your word to your friend that you'll go in, not following through makes you look cowardly.

If Jasmine had a problem with it she shouldn't have volunteered. Brooklyn would have sent in Jonna.
I think it was dumb of Jonna to state that because you should never make those kind of promises. Decisions should be made based on matchups. Cancun's girls had no chance in "Physical" against pretty much anyone left in the game. At that point you get rid of your two weakest players--especially if you truly are "a family"

I think Jasmine was annoyed by it, but she was woman enough to step up and go in. I gained a lot of respect for Jasmine this week and I'm sad she probably won't be back. I really hope CJ comes back because he went up a lot in my estimations this season. I wasn't a huge fan of his on Cancun, but he really surprised me!
I agree it probably would have been smarter in the long run to go ahead and send the two "weaker people" home, but it's been shown that being a 2 person team is a huge disadvantage, so I can understand trying to keep all 4.

I gained respect for Jasmine too and CJ as a competitor (though he's clueless when it comes to strategy)
We haven't seen a strong 2 person team yet. FM was stuck with Eric, Wes left first for Austin, Knight & Jemmye are average at best...
Marie & Robb have been okay together but neither is very smart and Marie isn't in the best shape.
Honestly, Cancun would be best in a final with just Jonna & CJ--the question is could they have gotten there with only 2--that we don't know but I think some of these teams with 4 are going to wish they had 2 (Brooklyn & SD)
