Melinda is an obvious choice from a casting perspective. Technically an OG. Hot AF. Been in the mix for multiple recent seasons. Production wants/needs pretty people.
Melinda's whole thing doesnt work twice. The main appeal of her on all stars 2 was her going from one of the worst girls in challenge history to almost winning the whole thing. We already saw everything we needed to see from her.

Marie is a legend who always delivers. So choosing a 3peat who has deliveried nothing each time over an icon we haven't seen in a while is the perfect example of their incompetance and why this show continues to teeter on being canceled after each season. Fruit Fly Skye!

Marie doesn't "deliver"--she's remembered for throwing pizza on Brad and not trying. Like Paula and Robin, it's best for her own good that she doesn't return--she's not cut out for being on a show like this--they aren't mentally tough enough for it.

Aneesa consistently gets the least interaction on cast reveal day or any other time. She draws no emotion which is the worst type of casting.
