I think Cory and his survivor first boot brother should've been cast for this honestly...but likely the ratings won't be affected...
I think in general they just cast way too much of the bro archetype (Jag, Enzo, Tucker, Joseph, Kyland). So him and his brother would've been refreshing in comparison.

yeah I figured there'd be some recency bias but it could've been a nice mix of new school people with a few sprinkles of surprises

Def not in the minority. It's just a lot easier to pay these new people who make all their money from social media, cameo, onlyfans and other reality shows a couple grand to come on than it would be to get anyone with a real job who's moved on with their lives
I don't mind the newer people taking over this season. Don't get me wrong i would've 100% preferred Libra or Jenn over a good chunk of this cast. However, I constantly complain that they shouldn't put these people under these 2 year contracts if they're never gonna use them so who am i to complain when they actually use them
