honestly, if i had to guess, the creative teams, marketing teams, and editing teams are probably older and are out of touch with that younger people want.
the show itself is edited weird now, it's just a bunch of unfunny and corny jokes and segments. it's like they're trying to edit it to make it look like if you mixed together corny *** big brother, a family sitcom, and espn into one, and it's just not what reality tv fans want.
the promotional posters and cast pictures are overly edited with weird filters and outifts that aren't eye catching. you remember in school when the teacher took a colored photo from the internet, printed it out on the test, then handed the test out to the kids and no one could even tell what it becaused it lost color and is distorted? thats what these cast members look like, especailly the bfanc pics. the trailers are boring and don't hint at any actual storylines.
they don't know whether or not they want to cater this show to sports fans, reality tv fans, OG real world fans, gen z, so they just kind of make this really safe overly edited version of what i feel like their potential is.
im gen z and not that many gen z'ers i know would watch these trailers or look at this promo and actually be excited to watch. that's just my perspective though. and again, even if all of this was fixed, i'm not even sure if it would actually increase the ratings to what they used to be. authentic reality tv is a dying breed anyways. certain shows like survivor/bb/love island are exceptions, and popular shows like drag race have strongholds in certain american subcultures. the challenge doesn't have any of that and with the absence of the real world and with mtv fading out of the mainstream, it doesn't have a home.
Honestly they should bring back the picking elimination categories like from battle of the seasons. But make them different each time. No clue if this is popular or unpopular
What's an elimination nobody but you cares about? For me id say the one jodi beat Nia in where they had to climb a ramp with a bunch of oil and they kept slipping.
Took me awhile to think of one but mine is Stacking Up from Exes II, I like when a season has 1 crap shoot elimination where typical big guys could lose since its not purely physical
CT did not "give" Amber a win. His fat a•ss could barely keep up with her during the running portion. They both complimented each other to get the win. Amber would not have won with Cory, Leroy, Fessy just like CT wouldn't have won with Kam, Nany, Kaycee
og's aren't needed at all. you can bring back all the iconic og's and legends from back in the day and the ratings still probably wouldn't go up by a significant margin.
the market demographics that loved watching og's are also grown and don't really watch reality tv anymore. the online fanbase that still loves them is a small minority. almost everyone from that era, og castmembers and og fans are out of the picture now, grow up and move on

I wholeheartedly disagree. I feel as though, she should've had to complete the puzzle just like everybody else did. Her win will forever have an asterisk.

You're wrong and a certified hater. So there's that!
^whewwww preach!!! Null clocked it perfectly
The show is like a stale *** marriage after 25 years with no more action or chemistry present anywhere. Also are all y'all gen z on here now? Dayum.
everyone around 27 and younger is gen z so i'm guessing there's a lot of us. millenials are in their 40s now
Not me. I'm a baby millennial or as some call us, zillennial. I'm older than y'all gen z folk but still far tf away from 40~*
sure grandma. finish making that avocado toast and then we'll get you to bed
You'd have better luck telling me to finish chugging that wine bottle. And even then I'd tell you my days of classy alcoholism are long over, honey~
mines just beginning!
I'm not in my damn 40s! Not even half way there. Don't KVM us millennials
***** I'm not reading all that

Old *** ***** LOL
***** Cara has like a decade on me lmao
second that!
If you're not halfway there yet then you're not a millennial. They were all born by 96...so 28 is way more than half way to 40
I'm also not a millennial.
You are an old granny and Cara is not.
Wait, you're right. That was slow of me. I meant I'm not even halfway done with my 30s yet, younger than 35.
Thats how I understood the comment in the first place lol. I am halfway there though
You're all older than me! I've barely begun.
Awwwww, I feel bad for age shaming CosmicDemon. You're all young and beautiful forever. <3

Okay--that makes more sense lol
we know you're not a millennial
only like a third of the millenials are in their 40s. majority are 31-39.
