Cara hasn't even been that bad at swimming for a while now. She did fine on wotw2 I'm pretty sure had one of the fastest times for the women

Yeah we've literally had footage of her working on her swimming during previous challenges, and she's completed challenges where she had to swim. She certainly has improved in that area, so people acting like she hasn't worked on it is odd. At the same time, swimming is one of Tori's strengths, and it's probably never going to be a strength for Cara. To give them that elimination when apparently Michele was getting multiple math/puzzle eliminations (and Tori perhaps had a water elimination against Aneesa) is going to raise eyebrows because what are the odds? Like, how did both women keep getting their strength?

We always complain about them using the same eliminations every season and even this season most of the board was expecting physical eliminations at the end just for them to give us something completely new and endurance. I for one am happy with it and rather see that than another Hall Brawl. I get the appeal of wanting Tori vs Cara to be physical but I don't mind them doing endurance. The better player won that day. Fans will just never be happy lol

They give new eliminations every season, that's the lowest bar lol.

I just remember there were many many posters including myself that were groaning and moaning expecting a Hall Brawl final elimination so at least for me I'm content with it

Now it makes sense why Tori got last she was prob so gassed out from the elimination

So there's one good thing about that elimination after all lol

Feel free to call me slow and my bad if this was already explained but what's treading water?

Basically surviving in water in the same place not really swimming just staying afloat

Its when you keep your body vertical in the water, so your head is above the surface, and use your arms/legs to stay above water

kicking your feet to stay head over water.....

So all they needed to do is float and******* are saying it's rigged lmaoooo I can't

Survivor legend Michele Fitzgerald would've beaten any of the girls left in that elimination btw

Michele is good in the water, no?

I don't understand how TF you're supposed to tread water with your arms in the air unless you're a ******* flamingo.

I like when they try new eliminations and I like when they do eliminations in a different location than just the generic arena...but idk if this sounds like something that'll translate into great TV, I'd have to see it.

She did but she also complains every time she swims and it makes her still look like she's struggling. If she could just keep her mouth shut, the perception about her being slow wouldn't persist.

Part of why Cara isn't the strongest swimmer is because she's scared of it/never been comfortable in it. She's gotten better but the original dislike is still there.

It'd be like Darrell vs. Bananas nommed for an elim, production delaying it, and then giving them something that involved heights. Doesn't matter how simple the elim is, it's a known area of weakness for Darrell and there would be questions about rigging for Bananas, whether it's true or not.

Personally think Tori beats Cara is a lot of things outside maybe pole wrestle, and that would have been preferred over something that has even an ounce of questionability.

You can see a slight variation of it on Survivor called Last Gasp, except that it involves players staying under a grate and tryng not to drown as the tide rises, but it's both endurance and mental.

I would've preferred that tbh.

Like we're they just there for three hours with nothing else involved ?

I think it'll look cool on TV and that's probably productions sole intention there

Its going to be pitch blackness, watching their heads bobbing above water. The majority of that elimination footage will most likely be focused on the peanut gallery's reaction.

Doesn't seem entertaining

Based on what Gamer has said, sounds that way.

If they're going to somewhat steal ideas from Survivor, they should do the stages part that's common in a lot of their challenges -- start easy, gets progressively more difficult. Sounds like they randomly had to be like "put your arms over your head" just to end it because they're were both doing well.

Watching Tori and Cara arm wrestle sounds more entertaining than this. After two hours they should have both quit at the same time in protest.

It can't be worse than watching people jump on a trampoline and looking at a puzzle lol.

Idk why they didn't just have everyone do the second part on with the trampoline on the truck.

Unnecessary two-parters to some of these challenges lately have been so odd -- like the stadium musical chairs on AS4 did not need a random puzzle part, esp when the adventage in part 1 wasn't good.

Theyll prob have lights on them the entire time so doubt it'll be pitch black.
