Yes. Because Cara has been doing this show for over a decade. The challenge and being an influencer is her only job. If Cara still can't swim by now that's on her.
Cara can swim; she has swam in many challenges before. Cara is not a strong swimmer. There is a difference.
Also, you can't necessarily just train at something and be strong at it. There are people who take tennis lessons for years and are never better than mediocre players. There are people who run multiple times a week but it doesn't mean they can go and win races. There are kids who swim on swim teams every summer and never get better than average. The fact that Cara apparently tread water in the ocean for 3 hours is actually proof that she has worked at her comfortability in the water.

Like yall tell other challengers such as Cory/Leroy who flop every season that they need to improve on their mental skills, well cara needs to do the same but with water-based stuff.
Cara ended up losing to Tori and then Tori ended up in last place AGAIN and even getting beat by Michele of all people in a final. Glad Rachel stopped Jenny from winning though!
I do think we are giving them too much credit for this elimination. They probably got lazy and didn't want to put effort in so they stuck them in the ocean lol

Doubt it. I'm sure permits were needed, boats in the area to watch for animals in the sea, lifeguards nearby, etc. They probably thought the visual of these two girls fighting for their spot in the final in the middle of the ocean would be cool.

I mean, Cara did apparently tread for 3 hours and only failed because they went to not using their arms -- probably means she has been working on her swimming/water skills.
But lbr, it's def suspect they flew them to a new country and gave them a random elim that was one of Cara's weaknesses. Don't get me wrong, the outcome was hilarious esp after the trolling, but this exact scenario is why people question and dislike production.
None of it matters in the end because Cara would have likely gotten fourth too unless her partner was different which seems improbably as karma points seem to have impacted who picked who and I can't see Cara getting more points than Rachel.

If someone is weak at something they can improve, but that doesn't mean it will become a strength. We can't all be good at everything, no matter how much work we put into it. Y'all really are doing the most.

To me a bad elimination is a bad elimination, I don't care if it's new. This is endurance sure but the same way the Kellyanne nany mattress one is.

They should've made them sit in tiny boats and throw water in the others to see who sinks the fastest.

Cara hasn't even been that bad at swimming for a while now. She did fine on wotw2 I'm pretty sure had one of the fastest times for the women
