That goes back to y'all saying Kam is scared, but that being hypocritical because she's calling other people scared. Nothing she has referred to as "scary" had anything to do with anyone going into elimination. She called Cara scary for not wanting to vote Rachel because it might cause her to lose her star.
Scared, in this context, means unwilling to take a shot. It has zero to do with going into the sand with someone (and no those aren't one in the same, but can be related ). Kam not randomly calling Laurel out to face in elimination doesn't fit in this context. Especially , if she's right where everyone needs her to be ... starless. The only rationale yall can use for Kam being hypocritical with being "scared" is not going into an elimination with a strong competitior. And I'm saying she doesn't have to prove herself in that aspect , so how would it benefit her facing Laurel? Because the only thing I can muster up per what you're saying is pride. Otherwise, she has no reason to when she's not an immediate threat.

Cara also still hasn't targeted Laurel. Cara also hasn't said anything critical of them personally or even game wise (and has even praised Kam as "smart"). Meanwhile Kam and Laurel have both targeted Cara and worked to get the house against her. Kam has also said Cara doesn't play smart. Cara has also been supporting Laurel emotionally, and at the same time wondering where "beast" Laurel is; if Cara were as shady and selfish as people were making her out to be, she'd actually be encouraging things with Laurel and Nicole since it's throwing Laurel off her game.

Kam's on a power trip this game. Swapping her out and messing up her near-end-of-game plan to get a star might be enough for Kam to completely switch her target from Cara to Averey. The only way Averey gets out of this clean is if she went up to Kam and Leroy ahead of time to tell them she's going down no matter what and if Kam wanted to go against her. Could she have beaten Kam at that puzzle? Maybe.
