Averey has really been competing so well this season (she's a Top 2 or 3 girl in nearly every daily) but she's playing like it's a 18 episode season. She should've forced herself into elimination against ANYONE other than maybe Cara or Laurel.

Okay, I guess. Not great.
It would have been more interesting if the water was basically to the platform so that there was an element of having to hold their breath. I know the challenges on the All Stars seasons are meant to be a bit easier since the contestants are supposed to be older (though TPTB seem to be moving away from that concept), but there are still things they could do to make the eliminations more intense but still not as physically demanding as on the flagship show.

Yeah in terms of actual challenges, its more of the contestants that give more highlights. (Like Ayanna helping Leah). But the eliminations themselves are kind of blah. Like the elimination between Adam and Brad is a really poor choice, because as a tv watcher, you have no idea who is ahead or behind.

Yeah, as much as Veronica is fun socially, she's really bad physically. Its kind of frustrating because I bet she could be decent if she actually condition (she's quite underrated in her heyday winning several clutch individual challenges). Probably would replace Veronica with people like a Roni.
Steve and Ace are kind of my favorites because of their indifference. Steve is fun, because he really doesn't care what others think (like having no problems targetting Derrick in season 2).
Who cares if they flop athletically? As long as they entertain. We don't need all brolics. Keep the brolics on the main show and give us all old flops on All-Stars!
Lee is useless because if you noticed it why not tell Kam instead of Veronica?
He did try to tell her. There is literally a shot of him during the elimination saying, "One behind you. babe, one behind you." Regardless, it's on Kam to keep track just as Cara did. Plus Kam actually had several balls that weren't right by the hole whereas Cara had all of hers right by it. When Kam has 7 and Cara gets her fifth ball, you can see that Kam has 3 balls nowhere near the hole.
Where the heck did Cara's thick Boston accent come from? How do you live in Montana for a decade and all the sudden your Boston accent gets extremely thick? She is so weird to me.
Probably like most accents, it comes out in certain moments, be that stress, anger, concentration or whatever. I think being around Jay and Nicole with their accents probably brings it out too. CT has lived in Florida for a decade plus but still has his accent come out strong sometimes too.
I'm from North GA but lived the last decade in Atlanta and don't have a southern accent except occasionally or on specific words.
I just don't understand why Cara's accent didn't come out more on other seasons, which makes it more suspect.

Tbf Cara treated them friendly prior to Kailah voting for her, even according to Kailah. Her reaction to that "betrayal" was annoyingly over the top, and she def was terrible after, but that's Cara in a nutshell: acts like a victim and takes smart games moves too personally.
Camila otoh was never really nice to them and often brought up how she was protecting/helping them in an aggressive way.
Ive already talked about this before, but where Cara is from in Mass doesn't really have a Boston accent (its a small city where half the population speaks Spanish) and is on the border of New Hampshire. She went to a Catholic high school. Her accent mustve been picked up in college, which was in a neighboring suburb of Boston.
as a New Englander, the whole Boston accent thing irks me. Boston and its burbs primarily are the only ones who have it; and then when someone moves from nowhere MA to nowhere NH, they put on a Boston accent to seem "hard", when they never lived in Boston a day in their life.
Kam did alot better than I thought she would at the elim. For Cara to be a full time gymbot, she didnt smoke a post partum Kam the way I thought she would.
Anyways this was the first episode I was able to like Cara, she wasnt too whiny.

It's def crazy people are bashing Kam the most. I see the hypocrisy in some of Kam's confessional comments, but at the end of the day, she felt hurt by Cara not having her back and went into straight "okay we're not friends in here anymore" game mode and was calculated with every move thereafter. That's an approrpiate way to play. And it's not like Cara hasn't been a big old hypocrite several times throughout here challenge career.
But we know why Kam is getting more heat than Laurel/Nicole, and it's gross.

I honestly don't even notice Cara's accent change that much, probably because I've heard much worse on a daily basis.
Cara is from Lawrence/Methuen lmao which is so funny to me. But I am also from NH (what are the chances theres two of us here?!) I live near Salem, although there was a decade of my life that I lived in Mass and was a Lowell-life haha. My mother has a disdain for the Boston accent so I tend to notice it, especially when somebody forces it and thats what I get from Cara. At least CT lived in Charlestown for a few years so I cant say his isnt real lol.
Kam should never have trusted Laurel, and I don't understand why she didn't rally Cara vs. Flora just to be safe. Cara already said she wanted to take Nicole's star, which is more trustworthy than anything else. I hate that Kam made power moves this season but one lapse got her booted. Kam calling Laurel out was gold, though.
And for all her saying she wasn't afriad to go against Cara, Laurel sure won't do it unless it's a game she thinks is a guarentee for her. Smart, but also a bit scared, let's be honest. Which is ridiculous considering she ******* Laurel, arguably the best or second best female competitor to ever be on the show (obvs Evelyn is the argument against BEST).
