Either way he more than likely didn't go against Jordan/Tori/Bananas/Cara etc. He should have worked with people like Nia/Averey on his team and even people like Michele/Olivia maybe even damn Kyland during the individual phase. Cory will never be apart of the "core" vets so idk why he never changes it up. Cory is a great example of someone who just plays to make it far and make the final but not to win.
Actually looking at this format it's not much Cory could've did unless he was team captain and we don't know what that looks like as of yet.
And we don't know politics post- teams because even then it feels like the elimination winners have more power. He could've been playing dumb but it's too many factors to know what his game was,

you do realize that last place has gone into elim the whole game? he has to be outplacing people in dailies / winning dailies / winning elims to be here. he'll prob get last in the final but i wouldn't call him a flop
