I personally don't think mercenaries were needed for this season but I think it makes sense to make the eliminations around each of their expertise
Not really, it's actually a very embarrassing look to have your main cast get continously embarrassed in eliminations by mercenaries Skye's klan. It makes your cast look pathetic and weak and the casuals are just gonna complain about casting these losers over vets even more. Production intentionally got a weak cast for this to have their friends look good. It's so stupid.

They really cut Johnny M who would have carried drama, showmance, and entertainment so that their mercenaries didn't look bad. I'm dead. What intelligence minded person cast a show to intenionally look bad and be humiliated?
i don't see really any of the main show vets losing their eliminations. This cast is incredibly weak already and even we could all pick eliminations for the likes of Laurel, Cory, Darrell, Cara to destroy most people in that's not hard to do at all lol
I know Tory Ms. Steroids entire self-worth comes from this show so I'm glad she got the win...she needed it after flopping in the CBS2 final so bad and proving when she goes against real competitors and it's not rigged that she has zero shot of winning no matter how many steroids she injects.
