Feel like this happens every season people drop out, others get added, people stop getting called or taken off the cast. It's not THAT wild lol other reality shows prob do around the same when finalizing the cast.

we aren't children we know shows that don't have a pink rose do late drops. the way Johnny and Bettina were dropped is extremely unprofessional and unorganized regardless
yeah i've heard Cory state that they knew they were coming in but that they thought they'd be competing against them in a team.
partially why Cory/Nelson/Kailah/Jenna/Tony we're together in the first place is because they wanted a "strong" team for when the champs came in
Goes to show you how stupid they all are. Cory/Nelson/Kailah/Jenna/Tony A strong team? They're some of the biggest flops ever. I loved how on invasion the outsiders banned together to slay all of them. And Theo went in on Kailah. Amanda cut Kailah and Jenna with words. It was so glorious. Then Shane whooped all those boys. The formation of the Lavender Ladies was one of the best things about Invasion. Makes me sad thinking about how good this show used to be.
Theo got ended by Jenna which is embarrassing in its self then quit and Shane didn't beat anybody in anything because i'm certain him and Amanda both have the most appearances without a final for their gender.
The reality is there's certain people they'll add late and drop someone else for them regardless of how far before departure. I don't underdog why Johnny was dropped as I think he'd be good casting but he's not CT or anything like you're all making him out to be. It's not a big deal. He'll gladly do the next one.

I don't think anyone is viewing Johnny M as a CT type, I think it's based on the majority of the cast being more on the boring side of things where someone like Johnny could at least provide entertainment.

The fact that production doesn't have a set cast and a set plan for the season before they take off is just wild to me. They are terrible at their jobs lol

You should have a set cast weeks before departure that's finalized and then have alternates in case people drop. Telling people they are on and then ghosting them at the airport is wildly unprofessional and embarrassing.
they also should have a set theme, with all possible scenarios mapped out in case they want to make changes.
they literally are just winging it and throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks lol. They don't know what direction they want the show to take, they don't know whether it's a sport or dramatic reality show, they don't have anyone apparently managing this shit show and the more we hear the more embarrassing it gets. Yes other shows have last minute changes and mistakes but not at this level of complete disorganization.
