If they really are bringing people in the middle of the season it really doesn't make sense for them to be veterans that fit this theme of redemption. Like why would they not just bring in those veterans to start with. Like at least with invasion it made sense for the twist to bring in a bunch of champions and shock the people on the island

I wasn't around when Invasion was happening on vevmo but did the underdogs know the champions were coming before filming or was that actual shock ?

yea they did. I'm pretty sure Zach told Jenna before departure.

It was already known. Plus pink keeps saying this isn't invasion so I don't know why people keep tryna press this.

We knew there was separated departure for champs and underdogs. I think I even put all of them Inter lock thread right before the underdog left so they knew over that and Jenna since she knew Zach did testing
Over personal reasons Nam decided not do this season
Now this is more like it. Now am I crazy or is this the second time he has backed out of this season? He was confirmed then wasn't. Then confirmed again and now he isn't. Did I make all that up in my mind?
yeah i've heard Cory state that they knew they were coming in but that they thought they'd be competing against them in a team.
partially why Cory/Nelson/Kailah/Jenna/Tony we're together in the first place is because they wanted a "strong" team for when the champs came in
Goes to show you how stupid they all are. Cory/Nelson/Kailah/Jenna/Tony A strong team? They're some of the biggest flops ever. I loved how on invasion the outsiders banned together to slay all of them. And Theo went in on Kailah. Amanda cut Kailah and Jenna with words. It was so glorious. Then Shane whooped all those boys. The formation of the Lavender Ladies was one of the best things about Invasion. Makes me sad thinking about how good this show used to be.
The fact that production doesn't have a set cast and a set plan for the season before they take off is just wild to me. They are terrible at their jobs lol

This. I was just thinking like how poorly planned this was. And they've had time to do this too.

Are we really suprised? They're churning out spinoff after spinoff, hundreds of contestants, not one has been above a mediocre product, some downright dismal.

Feel like this happens every season people drop out, others get added, people stop getting called or taken off the cast. It's not THAT wild lol other reality shows prob do around the same when finalizing the cast.
It's on Nam for accepting, he could have said no....lol. I'm all for bashing production but Nam is not a child, he can make his own decisions.

No RW, no RR, no champs. Format will be interesting...

As much as I want Johnny back I feel like dropping him was a calculated move on productions part
Bring Esther Falana, Bettina and Amber Martinez to replace Nam.
Y'all have got to stop bumping these Tory Deal threads THIS IS OUR ONE CHANCE TO FORGET ABOUT HER!!
i hate when they did that shit it made me feel awkward rooting against her in her eliminations lol
I can't think of a worse season to do single elimination each episode with such a small cast

All I am going to say is just wait nothing is set on concrete since they do and twist things as they go
LOL they need to just stop calling Nam it's clearly not meant to be
