They literally have no money going into scripted content. They should be greenlighting All Stars 5, 6, and 7 ASAP to fill their streaming app, instead they are gonna have nothing new on the app for a year and will soon be crying why subscriptions are down so much.
Paramount+ released what's being added in June and the only Challenge related stuff is season 37 and 38.
Who knows what they're doing with this but if it's not premiering in June it's probably not being released this summer at all unless they are okay with overlap with USA2
It also makes sense for fall because of the writers strike. alot of shows film during spring/summer for a fall release. I know this is a streamer vs airing on a network, but ABC already said they wont have any scripted shows until 2024, so others may follow suit. There will be lots of gaps to fill.
USA 2 won't get actual promo until like July... CBS just wanted to announce their schedule. AS3 ended the day USA1 premiered last year.
I think December makes so much sense and then season 39 right after that.

Why are we jumping to winter and not fall? If we are judging by when cbs airs usa2 and having 12 episodes, that should end on Oct 5th.

We were assuming that MTV would want to air 39 this fall (like they did for 37 and 38 which also filmed late spring/summer)
I guess they could do AS4 this fall (I think I saw a rumor they might air this on MTV potentially?) and then 39 in early 2024
