As someone who has never watch this show before (gasp I know), which are the best seasons you'd recommend?
I've only ever seen clips but I feel like I need to watch as I have been a drag queen in spirit my entire life.
early seasons. I'm a drama lover so 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are really good. Season 8, 9, and 10 are good if you want to start with a newer season though that's when they moved to vh1
I am stanning Marcia, Marcia, Marcia. She embodies everything I've ever loved in my life. Goddess. Poor Sasha so out place with these young girls. Rupaul is going the direction of the Challenge with an entirely new generation. I notice the common theme on this show now is, new unseasoned Tik Tok queen comes in annoys everyone with their no drag experience then wins the show. Said queen is trashed endlessly the premiere by the more experienced usually pageant queens in confessionals but the new queen always prevails.

Season 1 is decent but I can't get past the really bad filter like it's bad most of the time people who watch the newer seasons never bother with season 1 cause it's just not the same show also it's so hard to find idk if it's on Paramount . The fandom is very divided on season 7 you either love it or hate it but there was a lot of favoritism on that season
Whaddya know. So there is an audience on MTV if you put out a good product. So much for those "no one has cable anymore" people trying to defend the challenge's poor ratings.
I prefer reality shows to be 60 minutes. I always watch this show on demand so I never realize if it's less than 90 minutes until lastnight. The show was so rushed, they didn't even play Catwalk like they usually do for the runway. Super rushed. Then I noticed the judges comments were so short and obviously edited. That's when I checked to see how long the episode was and sure enough it was 60 minutes. Like I said I prefer 60 to 90 but not if it's going to be obviously rushed. They could've skipped the acting footage and left in the runway/judging which is the meat and potatoes of the show.

The episode was good and the cast is promising, but the Talent Show was ****

Wonder why MTV cut it to an hour if they give the awful Challenge 90 minutes?
i thought it was perfect. i don't need 20 minutes of bloopers from the acting challenges soread across 3 commercial segments
