This actually makes sense because Fessy been giving Amber her flowers lately, like on social media. History has shown that Fessy only pays respect when you beat him (Amber's DA win against him didn't count in his mind because Kaycee's DQ) Hence why he only thinks CT and Jordan are competention in the game and holds them up to high regard as well.
