Ridiculous. They used to hours and throughout the night. They would tempt them to quit with food or letters. Now they just change the rules of the game cause they are bored and change the course of the game? This gets worse and worse each week. RIP.
Oldschooler do you know how the ocean works? Once the tide reaches a high it will keep going down...

They stood on a platform for 16 hours on Australia and Palau. That's soft to just quit after 3 hours. Go as long as it takes or have a tiebreaker but you can't change the rules and give an extra immunity out.

Again... do you know how oceans work? The challenges you keep bringing up could've gone as long as possible because there was no factor that would make the challenge pointless

I don't care if they were out there another 24 hours. I think if the rules said they stay till one is left they should have continued to compete like they have in the past or should have had a tiebreaker prepared. My point has nothing to do with how the ocean works. You can disagree that is fine.
Them sitting around for 12 hours waiting for the tide is idiotic, no other way about it so no they shouldn't have.
They stood on poles for 12 hours before. If production didn't want that possibility then they should have rethought the challenge or done a tiebreaker. Changing the rules is more unfair than you be unaffected by the boringness.

The goal of the challenge isn't to hold on to the grate, it's to hold your breath as long as possible, they did it so there's literally zero point to them just floating with thie r faces above water. It's not the same as hold on the a pole challenges because that was never the goal
The goal was to stay under the bars the longest with one winner. There could have been a tiebreaker. This is going in circles, you can be wrong and I'll be right but no need in going in circles especially with your annoying messed up quotes.

And someone could have drowned, but they didn't so its pointless to talk about what could have happened instead of what actually did
i just learn to ignore everything oldschooler (and timster) say on this thread tbh. we know if they went 24 hours oldschooler would still complain that they shoulda ended it after the first high tide. he just wants to complain about something

Aww I'm in good company with Timster. I have given more praise to RoD than anyone. I gave last season more praise than anyone. Y'all just look for reasons to dislike me and hold me to a different standard than others. I just disagree with changing the rules and impacting the game...just my opinion lol.
idek what rod is but that's. a bold statement claiming you gave a show more praise than anyone when you're nothing but negative about new era survivor
Ride or Dies, The Challenge lol. You can check the thread for last season lol, I was very high on the cast. I do hate the new era very much and what Probst has done with the show but last season had an amazing cast that overcame his incompetence.
We got rid of the most annoying player left besides gabler so today's episode was fine to me.
i missed the first 15 minutes but i enjoyed it. i don't understand how the vote flipped from cassidy to sami tho but was also dealing w kittens so i probably missed the conversation that got everyone/karla to flip
I feel like the only way Jesse doesn't win is losing final 4 fire right? He's good until then with 2 immunity idols and if he makes it past that he's at the end with 0 votes against him despite at least edit wise controlling the entire game in an era where that person always gets hunted for a resume boost. Karla is probably the second best player but seems to come up more in votes and only has the one idol. Cody's played a similar game but has ultimately rode shotgun to him. Unless Jesse puts up an all time awful final tribal he should be able to get the win
if this is the last day to use shot in the dark why doesn't everyone who doesn't have immunity play their shot in the dark?
we knew sami wasn't winning, his edit was just him being 18
I figured he'd get 3rd place 0 votes

Yeah let's have them just float for another 12 hours until the tide comes back out, great television

It's called editing it down?
What do you think it accomplishes doing this, its boring for everyone involved
It would have been the same airtime? What are you talking about? Do you think I care if it's boring for production to do what is fair?

Another ridiculous argument... you can't be getting mad at KVM in one thread for arguing about stupid stuff and do this shit here
You both argued back? But cause you disagree with me I'm the problem lol. Zzz...

Am I the only one who liked Sammy lol?

Yes
I think they had to cut the challenge from a production stand point. They still needed to have a tribal that night to keep up this 26 day pace
i liked sammy really funny final words
