Mhmmm Back in 2006 or whatever year Diem was cast was an era on reality tv where some lady brought a baby. Back then the show didn't have as many regulations that they have now and a lot of things were change after the Tonya Sue to cover their *****.
I think Diem was just fun for production to exploit for a CT storyline...doubt they cared about her personally... the second challenge on the duel was a ******* mud pit, they didn't care about her or her health...

I forgot but didn't they say this was like a 5 day final or something. If it was a 1-2 day final I feel like johnny/nany woulda gotten the W. Not sure why they made it that long when the advantage of being first in every day probably adds up to like a 1-2 minute head start on the final day lol.
