Yes, it was awful from the beginning. When the same awful alliance that ruined last season and made it to the end was set-up to do the same again it was a flop. Unless the 2 or 3 teams on the outside can win every mission then it's hard to go against a giant majority. Bringing in people late was a stupid decision and unfair. The rookies casting was also a flop just like it was on SLA...just slightly better. It's a cold location, the house sucks, the missions will be long, drawn out, and repetitive with stupid puzzles and memorization every time. This show was a flop from pre-production till the end. Nurys, and Laurel going off on Michele are the only 2 literal things there are to look forward to in a 19 episode show. And best case scenario we get a watered down version of Laurel yelling at Michele.

i don't like production but all of the vacation alliance members besides bananas/nany were sent into elimination at least once and ended up winning. and it seems like many of the non alliance members were pushovers as well. it seems like shit just ended up going wrong that production themselves really didn't have much to do with.

Of course I knew that would be cast? I'm not the idiot, production is...that's why I knew from day one this season would be garbage and I was right. We all knew they'd make it far cause even if they were sent in they'd get an elimination in their favor. Jordan was put with a rival and they called in ride or die. Kailah is best friends with Nany and Laurel is close with Jordan. So it was set-up for them to all succeed. The only strong non-Vacation team was because Olivia was a surprise. You can play this pretend the Vacationers don't ruin the show and it's not set-up for them to win but results and ratings are on my side. As for cold weather, it's a preferance but when the cast is miserable it comes across and equals poor tv. The aesthetics are also whack.

They typically had charisma or some type of entertaining personality trait or good looks. Vacationers have nothing going for them. Literally zero.
Based on how many hookups they all have they at least have charisma even if you don't like them
Kaycee, like Nam, literally is only on the show due to diversity. Probably same with Fessy. Tori & Devin get cast in any era. Same, obviously, with Nany and Aneesa. Josh is the only one that truly is unwatchable, and has been since BB, but they left him at home so win.
I honestly still have no clue what you think a realistic cast would have looked like. This was by far their best casting in many seasons.
