I don't remember every single thing posted here. I skim this site, you research it. I could have sworn it was said that Day put Derek F down as a partner, maybe not.

So my comment "made no sense" because you dont recall....gotcha.

I didn't know what you were talking about, so correct because I didn't remember it made no sense lol.

Why do they cast all these randoms just to not use them after a season. The only 3 out of the 40 new people that returned from the last 2 seasons were Michele, nam and amber. Not to mention why are they casting people who know little English on an American show where socializing and strategy talk are a big part of this reality tv show

Turbo won this whole thing without been able to speak English all too well and all his drama (that people love him for) are because of his language (barrier/level/or lack of). And i think we all know that Turbo is Top 3 male rookies in terms of everything in the last five years. This whole thing is being overblown.

I would actually prefer Derek F as a partner over Josh he can singlehandedly win anything for us physical elimination wise and by the time it's finals it'll be individuals

So that's 1 person out of the 100 no? Smile

Cause they don't research them. Production is probably approached by their agents and Lazy Skkkye just says "Cool, youre cheap and won't interfere with my favs. You are on". So the first season is essentially their audition, they flop as predicted by anyone with a brain and then the cycle is repeated.

It shows that language is not an issue whatsoever. The problem is who they cast.

Nam had a thing with Lolo (romance) but he didnt want to be in tje spotlight and was scared of his image. Emy,Berna  and the rest gave entertaining scenes. So...

JP, Alan, hell even CT at times back in the days, needed subtitles. I think if people like the rookies, they forget that they cant speak well. If not, thats the first problem.

Language is an issue...

Producers were probably creaming last season over the fact that all those rookies acted as a buffer and were going home one after the other so that all their precious vets made it far. Im just tired of the same 8 annoying people always making it to the end sigh

Exactly. They are protecting vets that are overwhelming disliked by the entire audience. Vets who can't carry a show in any fashion...but since the porky goblin likes them she prioritizes that over good tv.

Is a win win with production cause the vets they want go far and having those international rookies means that they can air the season in their respective country too

this season lacking amanda and ashley's presence doesn't sit right with my spirit. i'm usually used to at least one of them

honestly

But I'm gonna say as always, there's no way you look at Spies Lies and Allies and say "yeah, the international rookies where the problem"

There's bigger problems than Tracy and Logan not speaking fluent english: dislikeable people, bad themes, stupid formats, dumb twists, boring challenges..... that's what they need to fix first.

There were many major problems and the international rookies were one of the biggest. None of that other stuff you mentioned matters if you don't have a good cast. A good cast can overcome bad challenges, formats, and twists. A bad cast cannot overcome good challenges, formats, and twists.

The problem is the producers nothing will fix their mistakes. They're far more out of touch with reality than KVM, old, incompetent and zero critical thinking skills. It amazes me everyday how a production of this scale runs like your local high school committee. They all need to be fired!!!

This season is production karma for all their wrong doings

Hope this will be shown in their behind the scenes show lol

Justice is served. We love to see it.

it's been a long time coming

Nurys will fulfill their shoes

Josh is only acceptable mercenary if he's bringing Amanda.

josh has only ever been even somewhat likeable whenever he's partnered with amanda. at least tolerable. when da'vonne and amanda were there to keep him in check he was a little tolerable. then he went off the rails

i totally agree,

This season is production karma for all their wrong doings

karma always makes its way

inb4 it get shut down again mid season ☕️

Again, unless you are fluent or very close to fluent in English, I don't think you should be casted on an English-speaking show. I can function in Spanish but I don't think I'd be a good casting decision for a Spanish-speaking show as I can't understand a lot when fluent speakers are talking like they normally do.

That's just common sense from a producer's standpoint. And I honestly think it's kind of messed up that they'd put someone who isn't fluent or close to it in this situation as obviously they'd like to do the show because of the opportunity, but they're put at an even bigger disadvantage than they already are as rookies (which is hard enough for fluent rookies), use them cause they're cheap filler, then throw them away after 1 season. Like that doesn't scream "inclusivity" to me.  Plenty of people would do this for cheap and actually make an impact. Them trying to "go international" makes no sense since this isn't like worldwide show outside of America in the first place. And even at that, it's not really some big phenomena outside of a really passionate core fan base.

Turbo was fluent enough to express anger, happiness, make jokes, and make a connection with the audience. Esther was able to do that as well imo. But Logan, and a lot of the others, who probably struggle to think about the words to say let alone show personality, did not, and it's weird to cast them and they should stop trying with those types imo.

Ooh that was a long one. Sorry lol. I'm just tired of this debate

Esther was a brilliant casting choice... and as much as I couldnt stand Berna she is a good casting choice too.. Logan and Nam on the other hand are horrible and contribute nothing.

The problem isn't the twists, challenges or international rookies. It's the refusal to cast Natalie Negrotti

But bottom line.. what is Skye trying to do/prove? If she's really the one picking all this people she seriously needs to reevaluate. Why cast people that don't know how to speak or understand English?

They really sent home two rookies that could've provided smh
