I loved their friendship. Their feud was great too but I'm ready to see them reconnect and rebuild.

Probably has a lot to do with them being too controlling with who the production team was. When I heard that I knew this group would be too guarded and boring. Sure enough. I went from watching this as soon as it dropped at 2am to like a day later this season. It's still entertaining but not must see television. Shows how much I'm paying attention I didn't even notice Kelley didn't go on the swamp excursion.
i'd say this is the worst of the 3. LA was must watch TV, NY was fun bc it was the first time they did it and the cast got along and had fun. NOLA is not fun

- Season 3- It hasn't been bad but I feel like they are stuck and stretching the Julie stuff for way to long. I am not connecting with the cast and it hasn't keep me engaged like season 2 did.
- Season 1- It was cute that they reunited the first reality show! But since I haven't watched the og season I didn't have nostalgia for any of them. I felt like it was relatively boring and Becky stuff got way to stretch out.
The biggest problem with NOLA is that they are there for the check. They have no interesting in reconnecting, reliving, or opening up about the past. Julie belongs with a cast who wants to be filming and to make good tv, that's why we need her on All-Stars.
I'm still enjoying this season thanks to Julie and Melissa, occasionally Tokyo's permanently tripping on LSD self, and eye-candy Jamie. Danny's storyline was cute for an episode and the blondes Matt and Kelley have provided nothing other than surprises of aging sort of gracefully. I didn't watch Homecoming NY because I just wasn't interested at the time, LA was gold, and NOLA has been mildly entertaining TV for the most part. Shit, I'll take it.

Oh I wouldn't recommend anyone watch the first homecoming without seeing the NY season first. I think you have a much stronger connection to the people and appreciation for the way it was executed after experiencing those people back when it was such a new experiement and really felt raw. Also, you'll fall in love with Julie as a castmember.
Season 2 homecoming was amazing drama and Tami reigned. I loved Dominic, but the cast was so separated in the original.
Season 3 isn't it. People are praising Julie just because "she's bringing something" while everyone else isn't, but I don't think it's anything great or organic, so it's not like she's saving it. The Paul stuff was a snooze. And the racial stuff also felt like a forced snooze. It was addressed in a more compelling way in previous Homecomings. I understand Melissa's sentiments that it's exhausting.
I don't have any issue with Kelley--even when Melissa was like "she's married to Scott Wolf" and Melissa's dad said "who's that" her response was simply "exactly". Kelley is here for Danny. We all know it. I don't know why anyone has an issue with it. She didn't need the money but did this for a friend. She has the relationships with the people that she wants in her life.

She's not just going to say it on national tv in front of two black people unless in her world it is normal and not offensive. I also never said it's right. It's awful and sad that in 2022 it's still common to some people even with resources and knowledge that Julie didn't have.
