I kind of agree. Something feels off about this season so far. It feels very low energy. But I don't think it's Kailah and Sylvia. I think it might be the pacing and editing. It just feels weird. The eliminations so far were very boring to watch. It felt very rushed. There was no suspense to them. The dailies also feel very boring. There's no entertainment value.
the issue is that they are trying to act like wes is in "danger" all the time when 95% of the cast is friends/allied with him and only yes is trying to get him out. i said this over and over again and it's so obvious watching the show too lol
I think the reason Kailah and Sylvia throw me off so much is because they're the only two cast members who I've never see their original show. I actually stopped watching after Portland, so they're to me what BB AYTO etc. are to true og challenge fans.
But you're right, the pacing and editing is off. The opening scene with Tina and Veronica was far too staged and overproduced for me. I really liked the originality and laid back feel of the first season, but I guess CBS Viacom thinks the only way to raise interest in the show is turn it into the main show and bring in fresher faces.
I thought it was great! It felt very old-school. Previous relationships were a storyline but there were younger players who felt like rookies that fit in. The editing was good, it was fun but with strategy. As always it needed to be longer to establish relationships. First mission sucked too, but overall great. Veronica and Tina stole the show and it felt great even with too much Wes.

Not surprised these new school h03z who have no business on this show are ruining it. Kailah, Sylvia, Jemmye and to some extent Jonna annoyed me episode two. Their type of gameplay has come to infect All Stars. Along with Wes, the fun and innocence of the first two seasons is gone. And like the main show I guess this is where the downward spiral begins.
I wasn't back on here at the time but I thoroughly enjoyed season 2's premiere. Maybe it's the locations **** Mexico is very vibrant & colorful.... this season has a gray tinge to it & the vibe is just off.
I don't understand why they released two episodes. I figured it would be because episode one didnt have an elimination but it did. It felt very rushed. I agree that including the younger challengers throws it off for me, especially with Sylvia and Kailah. I would have liked more screen time for the ones eliminated personally.
I still **** with Legend Syrus heavy but I see somebody got in his ear & told him to start hamming it up in the confessionals.
The Kang having the best confessionals outside of Legend Teck (who is VERY missed on this cast) yet being noticeably absent is real sus but imma keep my thoughts to myself with that.
Wes is about 40% of why the vibe is off & of course he's brought this corny gamebot shit over to this show. Of course he's threatened by the far superior intellectual Legend Yes & is rocking with this corny "Battle of The 'Esses" shit. Same 'ol, same'ol.
Outside of Legend LT who's always a pleasure, the rest didn't matter lol
My only biased post but if Darrell had more airtime and confessionals we wouldn't be getting all these "show seems fake and off" posts after he carried S2
Not surprised people just come in here to complain about a show they've been excited about for months/weeks. Wah, wah, wah. Complain, complain, complain. In the words of BB Slaypril, everyone who watches this show is a terrible person. I'll just sit in my corner and be grateful for the content <3
I see folks still do this goofy shit where they're too much of an obsessed *** fan to tolerate any critique that's not kissing these shows/producers' *****. Girl gone somewhere.

perfectly stated! just has no life to it.
I actually agree. Something just feels off about this season. I don't know what it is. But with a cast this good it should be better. I wasn't even excited for the pre season trailers and clips. Last season they did a better job of hyping it up. This season it's just meh. I was about to post that the old school music is getting kind of old and really only fit on season 1 but then they played "Playground" a song I hadn't heard since I was in 2nd grade and I fell in love. Still I don't know why this season isn't translating well. I mean I guess it doesn't help that Wes is narrating it. There's no reason he should be getting so much airtime this early when there's so many other people on the show, people I would love to catch up with after not seeing them for so long but yet we don't get that instead we get 100 Wes confessionals per episode. It's annoying and I think I blame editing for this season just feeling off. Oh and Wes has the nerve saying Yes is pompous? Pot meet kettle. I cannot stand Wes.

Actually surprised people dislike it here. I wasn't thrilled w kailah Sylvia coming back but I liked them a lot so far
Please, Kailah is still the annoying over confident trash box that she always has been. Plus she's getting too much screen time for my taste. I had that the editors are only focusing on the new schoolers. I don't want to see Kailah, I hate her. The way she took over the voting process was just so ugh. Who died and made her in charge of how everyone should vote?
Belou would've saved this season. They should've had Tara on instead of Melinda.
Episode 1 should have been longer OR they should've done the first elimination episode 2
Cynthia must return for another season.
I remember when there was speculation that Belou was the one who replaced Beth but the favorite color clue that pink gave out was actually Lavender and meant we got Sylvia, sigh.
tara should have definitely been there over Melinda and Dan Renzi should have been there over Tyler. Especially since Tyler and Melinda were both injured. Casting dropped the ball big time with that one.
I think the reason Kailah and Sylvia throw me off so much is because they're the only two cast members who I've never see their original show. I actually stopped watching after Portland, so they're to me what BB AYTO etc. are to true og challenge fans.

watch skeletons at least, it was the last good RW imo. No reason to watch GBOGH that one was just bad

I found Kailah funny in confessionals during the show and I liked she wanted to target Austin in the voting
Where was Nia this episode? She gets a "Jordan forgives her scene" and that's it. Wow.
Yup! All of this.
the issue is that they are trying to act like wes is in "danger" all the time when 95% of the cast is friends/allied with him and only yes is trying to get him out. i said this over and over again and it's so obvious watching the show too lol

kinda wild they have people still in their late 20s competing against 50+ year olds. please do something about this production
The only bad thing about those episode was Wes

I will say I love that Legend Veronica is back to form & they seem to be setting Legend Roni up to be one of the main ******* >>>>>>>>>>
They have people in their 20s, 30s & 40s competition on the flagship & CBS. The oldest ones are old out performing the youngest ones all the time.
Season 1 was boring and season 2 started fun they it got boring after three episodes
I threw the biggest fit about Sylvia and Kailah being on the OG show, but I felt they delivered and fit in well!
What don't you throw a fit about, bestie Karen?
As far as the dudes go:
I still **** with Legend Syrus heavy but I see somebody got in his ear & told him to start hamming it up in the confessionals.

I personally though season 1 was so boring because everyone was volunteering and I didn't have the Nostagia glasses that some of you guys have lol
So I enjoy that there has been a little more game play last season and this season so far
My only biased post but if Darrell had more airtime and confessionals we wouldn't be getting all these "show seems fake and off" posts after he carried S2
so far seems way more gameplay story in S2 than S3..
Ryan Nehemiah fight, Sophia Ayanna fight, E3 had Casey and that other guy throwing in Derrick
the **** eating truly is at an all time high lol

When they cast people I like from the first 14 seasons only <3
