Based on what I have heard the people that were on second one didn't want to continue after the final checkpoint since they weren't catching up to the winner & the other got DQ on the final checkpoint over being medically unable to continue. Not sure what happened to those that were on third at that point if they pass those on second crossing the finish line or if only the winners crossed the finish line.
I am interest it to see how they edit this if they show the final how it went down or just edit it with a voice over of TJ. Editing can play its magic.

This is why you offer second place money. So you can edit a dramatic finish at the very least with two teams finishing, even if it isn't that close. Production is so incompetent.

A glorious mess. This is what they get for ruining The Challenge. A CBS challenge sounds like a horrible idea and is giving the fans exactly what they DIDN'T WANT. So I'm happy that it's blowing up in their face.
