Saw her interview with Mike Lewis. Her personality seems a little exhausting? But I don't know why she thought she was just the Mormon and had nothing more to her character on the shows. I admit on her RW season, I kind of felt that way. But on the Challenge she was definitely such a unique, entertaining character for more reasons. lmao.
She brought up the bicycle thing, though. I'm dying. lol. She really thought she was going down that straight and narrow path to God.
One thing I liked that Julie brought to the challenge was her competitiveness in the game. She was always super into the dailies but didnt come off as doing too much.
would I like her in real life? Probably not. But I think she was entertaining tv without even trying, something that the flagship nowadays is really lacking.
Julie's performance & reaction afterward to the veteran's losing the truck pushing daily in Gauntlet 2 is what I want out of all my female challengers. You're there to win money. You should be out for blood. Julie always had that mentality in spades.
Saw her interview with Mike Lewis and man I just cannot like this girl. I just watched the first episode of NO again and I didn't like her in NO and I don't like her now. Something about her comes off so inauthentic. I loved when Melissa went off on her during battle of the Sexes. She just screams fake and acting for attention. It's grating. Unlike LA this Homecoming is going to be tough for me to get thru. I can't stand Danny, don't like Matt, could care less about David, same for Kelley, hate Julie and I love Jamie but let's be real he's pretty boring. The only person I kinda sorta like is Melissa.

It's fair--Julie's not easy to like but she's good tv
I've never got the Julie hate. She's never been mean-spirited. She's quirky and spunky. She was only hated because Melissa turned on her which caused Coral to hate her. Everyone else just hated by proxy cause Coral was a ring leader. Veronica was the only justified hater, but Julie meant no harm. She just wanted to win.
Loved her interview with Mike - she is so full of life and just seems excited by everything. Def wish the stars would have alligned and we would have gotten her on All Stars - All Stars 4 needs to start production asap - putting it in the universe. Ugh, I love her <3
For me it can all be explained like this. With the NO cast for the first time, the performance was on. Julie playing her guitar in hopes on getting noticed on MTV (wasn't she in a band?). Melissa trying to be overly funny probably with hopes of being a comedian. David saying with a straight face that he's so proud of his body that he wants to strip in NO before he leaves, Matt and his weird self and Danny with his cringey "I've got a secret". This was a far cry from the previous cast who went skinny dipping the first episode and getting alcohol poisoning and just being themselves. Julie is a performer. She doesn't know how to be real and it shows. It's fine if that's what you like a performer, but she's one of the first reality tv personalities that I saw like that. Since then I've never liked her.
Like I said if that's what you like then that's fine. But call a spade a spade.
Julie was consistent on every show she did. Never once did it seem like an act. I also randomly ran into her and her husband in New Orleans a few years ago and she was very much the same person we saw on tv.

Julie is great TV....but she definitely tried hard to be the center of drama and act like a victim. Hope she gets on All Stars 4 if it happens
When did Julie act like the victim? I think y'all are getting her mixed up with Beth. Julie was only disliked because Coral followed Melissa's lead. Who else hated Julie and when did she seek to be the center of drama?

It wasn't just Melissa and Coral. Veronica rightfully hated her. Abram hated her. Even Katie had issue with her. I dont remember Julie ever being well-liked. She was the only decent competitor for the vets on G2 once Ruthie left so they tolerated her. Julie was great TV but not liked.
Veronica had a reason to hate her for like 5 minutes. Abe was friends with Coral and was a paycho so he doesn't count. Katie had issues with her for like 5 minutes cause she was annoyed in an elimination. So no not really. Julie was competitive and didn't fit in with that group of partiers, but she wasn't hated for being some major drama started.

You know as well as I do tons of people had issues with her agreeing speaking gigs for less money. Julie wasn't liked. That doesn't mean she isn't a good person who made mistakes but you're rewriting history claiming she was.
I loved Julie's friendship with Beth, even tho Julie was kinda fake on the Vets team when Beth left lol
when Beth vented to Julie on the Gauntlet 2 about how Aneesa was lucky that she didn't bítchslap her after overhearing Aneesa talking shit about her >>>>> tho we all know Beth was never gonna do anything lmao
This made me LOL. How can you compare Arissa to Julie?

"WHAT WAS IT? THE CLUTCH? THE ******* CLUTCH? ARE YOU FREAKING/(*******) KIDDING ME?
They were saying Julie had issues--Arissa had issues and was on. Pretty simple to follow that...
Poor Ace but he deserved all of that lol
no I don't think any of us follow. Feel free to explain how arissa has anything to do with Julie and her issues.
This isn't complicated. Arissa was on despite her issues. There's no reason Julie can't be. I don't know why simple concepts are confusing.

How anyone can not like Julie is beyond me.
"All I ask is that you shut your ******* mouth, when I do my inferno "
There's a difference between "like" and "entertained by"--I never thought Julie was well-liked. Great TV but likeable--not so much

We need an All Stars 4. I would love to see Julie

And just before that Julie was telling them how Beth was broke...lol
