Real World Brooklyn: Scott Herman

He would of helped the challengers in the Ruins for sure and probably helped the brooklyn team more than Chet and JD. Oh well..

He was the most boring cast member from his season. They made the right choice.

Some of his videos have millions of millions of views but they're all older ones. His followers are probably real but he clearly isn't pulling the same traffic anymore

Yea I subscribed to both his accounts way back... haven't looked at a video in years.

There's no way he's getting on now so...yeah. Missed the boat there buddy.

New pod is up with him- https://youtu.be/_LqFRc0SvwQ

He looks great for a white guy who's pushing 40.

I still am suprised that he somehow managed to get 2.5 million subs on youtube. Thats so random to me lol.

He literally runs one of the biggest fitness channels on YouTube and has had a big following for ages.

now we know you don't work out

2.6 million subs yet 16k views on his videos but sure...

He was on real world: Devyn Simone! I love that season

Scott was definitely the least used cast member on his season so I've never really had an opinion of him. I knew he had a fitness channel and that he had a lot of followers. I didn't know he had millions of followers but I mean good for him if he didn't buy them. So I went into listening to this with no expectations. I didn't like the guy. He seemed desperate the whole interview. He's one of those actors that did a few cool things but clings onto those stories for a lifetime and the experience just keeps getting better and better each time the story is told lol. How does he have a 22 year old daughter? He made jokes out of situations that were NOT funny (JD smashing the table, wanting to hide Katelynn's dilator.) he just didn't seem like my kind of guy. A real Trump's kinda guy if you ask me.

Nearly all his most popular videos are about a decade old lol

It was funny actually. JD smashing the table, getting buck with Devyn/Sarah/Outing Katelynn was hysterical because he was whack AF. I cant believe Anderson Cooper found him remotely attractive. His dad shouldve whooped his behind more often than he did, which I doubt as well produced any sort of blood as he told it.

Who? A complete bore

"One of the biggest fitness channels on YouTube" when he gets like 50k-100k views for most posts is funny.

How is it funny to hide someone's personal item that they use inside of them as a way to keep their affirmation surgery from detracting? Why would someone even want to touch that? Also, a man smashing a glass table while simultaneously screaming at a bunch of young women is not funny. I don't think it was that big of a deal to me at 21/22 when this season aired but now that I'm almost 35, I can say that it's sad that Scott reflects on those specific times as humorous.

Some of y'all get a high on pretending to be offended by everything.

Youtube has aged enough that subs isn't the best measurement of a channel's success.  A lot of channels that were once popular have a lot of subs but not a lot of views.  They do some formula when calculated ad value and i imagine views and times spent watching are much more important.  Sounds like from other's comments that Scott's channel peaked many years back and I assume other fitness channels are more active.

You can compare to instagram where certain accounts have a ton of followers, but not a lot of likes/engagement.  Not as valuable as a lower followed account with more engagement.

Who cares? Are we really dedicating paragraphs over an invisible Real Worlders success?

Some of his videos were very helpful for me like 5 years ago when I started training in the gym.

lot of non gym clowns here

I used to date someone who hated how much I loved RW, RR, and The Challenge. They just thought it was stupid and then one day he told me how much he loved this new workout out channel. He showed me and it was Scott. I was like "yea I know him. He was on RW." He literally stopped following his channel after I told him that.

It's not one of the biggest, there are so many fitness accounts, ones that don't struggle to get 100k views. You guys just don't know how youtube works

I'm glad you used to date this person cuz they sound like a bítćh

His fake attempt to have a personality is obnoxious. He's a bore. Always was always will be.
