I still really wanna know the reasoning behind Argentina. There must have been some logic to it, but then again this is The Challenge we're talking about...
I think they wanted to choose a non English-speaking country for the world championship thing and their time spent filming in Argentina allowed them to find people in Argentina's production industry who were willing to help them expand there.
Hmm okay, I wonder how that result in the finale if the contestants don't speak great English, subtitles? I'm assuming they may cast people that can speak a little English in order to communicate with the rest of the contestants unless they're completely trying to turn it into a sports only competition show with no drama etc.
I'm highkey worried about this after seeing the "America's fifth sport" quote in that trailer thing
Dont understand why they chose Argentina over Mexico, Brazil or France, those countries have reality tv much better implemented, and the sh0w would do better there
Is the cbs challenge show gonna be hosted by someone on the network? Maybe the guy who hosts the amazing race? Even though I prefer jeff probst from survivor.
The CBS show is very likely host by TJ
Damn hes doing the cbs one, all stars, the challenge agentina and 38. Whew all those monotoned speeches and checks!

This. I know Argentina does RTV but I think those countries you mentioned have much bigger followings probably. Maybe Argentina is super cheap for them to do, plus what PK22 mentioned.

Top reality tv stars in those contries have millions of following, specially in Mexico and France, people live for those shows, it would be a much safer bet, and they already have a big pool for casting, don't see the same with Argentina

You got it right, Argentina is SUPER cheap for foreigners.
Imagine if he does another language if he ***** up that bad in English lmao
In all seriousness they stated that they are airing the Argentina version simultaneously on Latin America Paramount + and Telefe. How are they going to make it work with a white man that doesn't speak Spanish? Even if they were to cast ppl that are some what bilingual force them to speak English on the show for a network (Telefe) in a country that the official language is Spanish & the contestants would feel more comfortable speaking their own language with each other? That would just make zero sense to me instead of just finding a familiar face as a host from that country to speak in their language and twist the format to atleast giving it a fighting chance for being successful on that market.
When they drop Tj and get Fernando and Dania to host this >>
Its airing on Telefe not MTVLA it has to be someone known in their country that can connect with viewers lol

Because ViacomCBS now known as Paramount bought Telefe in 2016 & it's technically one of their biggest channel with their sisters networks Channel 5 (UK), CBS (USA) & Channel 10 (Australia). If I am not wrong the 4 of them are their only broadcast channels and not cable ones which mean they have a bigger reach to audience in their regions. They don't own a channel like that in Mexico, Brazil or France.
Based on what I gather yes all 4 and the final one connecting the winners of all 4 are filming on the same location which sounded like it was in Argentina:
"Behind me is the location in Argentina where we're shooting the first-ever globally connected competition series. And because it takes place in one location, we're creating five series, for nearly two-thirds the cost.” - Chris McCarthy, Chief Content Officer
So the Mexico thing from a few months ago was a red flag.

I bet they are using Bariloche again. Don't think Salta is an option this time.
almost impossible but it'd be dope if they did an international simulcast like Ultimate Beastmaster. all the different hosts from different countries in the same place

warned mfs not to play in Michaelas face on SLA, now look at you.
US and AUS Survivor bout to dominate these joints and bring in 5+ million in the ratings. Johnathan LaPaglia will be hosting The Challenge in a year with Jeff Probst executive producing.
Early congrats to J'Tia Hart and Luke Toki for winning S1 of The Challenge: War of the Worlds

Get Back Gang undefeated
NGL I would tune into that solely for the king of the jungle
so the 8 people who win the international spinoff shows will be on 38? Or will it just be the the sole man/woman winner who wins out of the 8 or none? All these spinoffs have me so confused lol

Has the main challenge or even road rules been to argentina yet?

is Kyle really hosting the UK one or is gamer just trolling lol
There's space and budget to do all of this at the same time? I guess so then... this is all a mess to me.
Thats why they moved the dates this far back. Those fan favorites are reality tv personalities from those regions?
Imagine barely being able to speak your own native language yet hosting international game shows.
I bet they are using Bariloche again. Don't think Salta is an option this time.

The Challenge Argentina is about to deliver
https://youtu.be/t5XLRUsL66k
Viacom dropped 18% once they announced all this news focused on streaming LOLL, lowest it's been in a year.
Watch them bring all the finalists out for WOTW and last minute CT and Bananas walk in to play the finals too. Would not put it past them!!
