PR - have any of the interational seasons (UK/AU/Argentina) filmed yet?
I live in Argentina and they haven't done a show like The Challenge here and I actually think it will flop rating wise, people barely watch TV.
They're struggling to keep their golden show (Showmatch - Dancing with the Stars) still on.
Does Telefe do good in ratings?
They do, actually they're on top since 2012. I mean they have the "good" shows: The Voice, Showmatch, MasterChef Celebrity, talk shows and soap operas.
I feel like S1 could have an average to good reception then flopping after 2-3 seasons, that happened to every single show, except for Showmatch.
I just don't see this show being good for that audience
Neither do I. Survivor flopped 20 years ago, just 2 seasons.
I don't think this show will fit at all, is trash tv.
what if the two winners don't even speak English how that's going translate once the 4 versions Champs merge together

tbh i hope that if these seasons are a success we get some of the champs or the break-out stars of The Challenge UK/AU/Argentina on the main show. It'll be international rookies but they'll at least have challenge experience and we will know them.
this is there way to bring talent into the main show they'll just use the ones from these 4 spin-offs

I mean that might be true but when I say main show I mean the show that started it all- and let's be honest these other iterations prolly won't even last cause they're being poorly thought out and someone at CBS has a ***** for the franchise and has had this vision for awhile to mess shit up
If they were smart they could easily recruit college athletes who are just graduating that don't have a future in sports. Let's not pretend 22-23 year olds just out of college who are most likely single won't deliver if they pick well.
