I liked last season's final better but honestly this wasn't horrible. I do wish that they started eating in the order they finished the prior phases and their times mattered but...
They did according to Janelle IG story Darrell/her started a minute earlier then and Melinda/Nehemiah 30 seconds then Jonna/MJ lmaoooooo

In an ideal world the time would be the same as it was from finishing phase 1
And I guessed Ayanna would be the one to quit. But I wanted it to be over an eating challenge (on the assumption that would be earlier) because I thought that would be funny and very Ayanna if she suddenly refused to eat nasty sh$#. But she was just done and you could see that.
What was Ayanna-like was her bike-sparring with Darrell at the beginning there.
Ayanna will probably go on a spiel about no regrets and it was meant to be because my grandfather who was the master of locks said so but watching the episode she will regret. She probably thought phase 2 would involve more endurance and running. She really could've won this thang but that's under the assumption she'd destroy that table of food before everyone.

Ayanna and Teck definitely could have won had she pushed through and gotten to phase two. I think she would have smoked everyone in the math/picture equation. Not only is Ayanna smart but she saw an easier version of that puzzle in her first elimination.

Damnnnn I was rooting for Melinda so god damn hard, she really deserved to win. Who ever came up with that phase 2 BS should get FIRED.
Jonna **** the bed in phase 1 (aka most of the final). But she played a masterful political game, she performed well in daily challenges and she deserved to win last season. So congrats.
I'm surprised Teck didn't gas out, I understemated his endurence, had Ayanna been a little more fit I think the'd have had a decent shot at winning.
Happy for Jonna but I've never liked MJ *** and still don't lol, both finals he's 'won' were essentially eating contests. Either way tho I just can't vibe with him, never cared 2 much for his personality tbh
Darrell and Janelle were robbed idc idc. If they hadn't forced them to go straight to the final after their elimination, they would've rested and maybe had more mental energy for the puzzles and also for just reading the instructions. They did great despite having the odds against them and Janelle impressed me especially because of the pain she'd been enduring
Ayanna is my girl and she killed it despite being gone for so many years. Teck is my boy too but he allowed their morale as a team to lower when he left her alone in the cave to solve most of that checkpoint. He quit on her in that moment
Melinda kicked *** and really showed the most improvement out of everyone. Back in the day she was barely regarded as an average competitor but she really proved herself this time around
Is there gonna be a reunion for this shit? It'd be lame and unforgivable if there wasn't. They couldn't even give us the damn season 3 trailer after doing all that extra shit with introducing Panama as the next location
overall, good season. I did like last seasons final more tho and also liked Argentina as a location better than Mexico tbh. But still a good season, glad Ayanna came back more than anything else
Very happy for Jonna, girl is finally a champ! Wasn't a big fan of this final, particularly the ending but I guess it was mentioned that the big part was surviving the first phase. Happy AF for Jonna though and MJ was one of my favourite guys this season (surprising because I didn't like him before). Pumped for s3 just wish we wasn't getting so many returnees. If there are shit loads that want to return why are we getting half the cast that have been used already? I get having a few, but unless they're going to have all stars around for years give some others a shot! Where's Cooke and Svetlana?!
