I would love B2NY to happen, but realistically I don't think Mike or Coral would ever agree to do this. The other 5 would do it in a heartbeat. I can see Nicole & Rachel being tough to convince, but they'll cave in. Hey, money talks and PR said this pays really well. Better than All Stars

not with these "unseen clips" they'll surprise him with

never happening

BMP would never do that since they need him to be wholesome to sell his family show that they produce. Plus Jon Murray said Mike is his favorite cast member of all time. They love that dude and he will continue to get a warm wholesome edit. Which is fine. I will take a soft edit of Mike to see that season get a Homecoming.

I've never watched b2ny i was too young. Is it a good season should I check it out?

miz will never do it bc people will realize he was super racist back in the day

Mike is what the show was all about, he was from a small town where he'd predominantly been exposed to white people. They put him in a house where the majority of his roommates were minorities. He was open-minded and grew a lot during that season. It was a beautiful thing to watch him grow. It's sad that his awesome evolution could now cost him his career, so I wouldn't blame him for not doing it unfortunatly.

I don't remember much about it except for Coral was amazing. Malik was cool and I had a crush on Lori.

I think Coral would do this before a Challenge. Her biggest issue has been pay reportedly. If they're playing 6 figures to film Homecoming I think she'd do it. For some reason I could see Mike doing it. He's never tried to hide his Real World past in fact he's one of the few whose made it work for him.

i loved it. Now having said that most people think it was a boring season. And during my rewatch I can see why. I personally loved how mean Coral and Nicole were and I looked forward to Nicole fighting over Black issues. She was very Afrocentric and would always fight about race. If that's not your thing then this season is not for you. Outside of that there really wasn't much going on. The producers had to bring in Jisela three times this season because most of the girls didn't even talk to the boys in the house and Jisela shook that all up. She provided hooking up and fights with Coral. Plus it gave the guys a storyline. I think I loved this season because I was coming of age when it was airing and I have memories watching it with some close friends if mine and I think of them when I see that season. Ahhh to be a carefree teenager again.

you think skye or that other person cares? they just want drama. look at all the mess coming out of new orleans, this isnt the challenge that can rely on challenges/gameplay.. they NEED drama for real world to work.

I don't know I could see Mike saying yes and then being blindsided. He's not exactly smart lol

I could see them paying Mike and Coral really well to do this. If they could get Tami to do this, they can get Mike and Coral

Yes, whoever produces this cares. First, Mike will probably have something in his contract about his edit. They would oblige. Second, they have a good relationship with Mike and want to keep that. Third, it's in their best interest to make him look good.

Similarly, I can see Boston doing something similiar with Sean. The cast really wants this and may agree to go easy on him and not attack his politics, if producers really want it they might also agree to give him a great edit.

I agree and think they should pay them good. Mike has a ton of followers. He does a couple promos a bunch of his fans would sign-up for Paramount+. There are very few other castmates like Mike and Tami that could do that. Let's pay them what they want BMP and make it happen.

im curious on what seasons you like oldschooler

New Orleans was my first season from start to finish so it has a special place in my heart. San Diego might be my all-time favorite season. I loved Chicago and Vegas too! Austin was a great season. You can't beat the first season of New York, hands down some of the best casting and tv ever. I hated the guys on Sydney and lack of diversity but the girls were TOP NOTCH. Hollywood was a superb season. I enjoyed Back to Vegas also. Didn't love Denver but Brooke's meltdowns are some of my favorite moments ever. Key West was pretty good too. I don't think I appreciated Los Angeles enough the first go around but the Homecoming is AMAZING.

mike is never doing this lol

I don't think Mike would be the holdout. I hate when y'all speak in facts like you know who will and won't.

idc that it's new i'd love to see portland

thanks for the recommendations! You liked San Diego even after Charlie moved in lol?First season I've ever watched as it aired was San Diego that got me hooked and I watched since. It would be fun binging an entire season every week bc even seasons I've already seen it's quite foggy to me as I've only seen them once. Would be interesting seeing it with my adult eyes and if I'm shocked at anything

Same! That's why I'd be so interested to rewatch as an adult now too. I remember getting the DVD of NY when I was like 13 and I thought Kevin was being dramatic and playing the race card, but now that I'm 32 and not in the same innocent/naive bubble I see it completely different. And the fact that those are still conversations happening today is so sad. I rewatched Vegas recently and seeing the boss kind of using his position to make the girls uncomfortable is something that went right over my head in the 7th grade.  Man, I would love to rewatch and see this from the perspective I have today. I was such an unaware kid who was only watching cause I wasn't supposed to watch MTV lol. The show did make me want to diversify my circle though. I loved seeing the moments like Mike learning from Coral and I wanted to learn from people different from me because of that. The show had a big impact on how I interact and see the world today lol. I guess that's why I'm so connected to the "old school" and hate what it's turned into. Irene calling Stephen gay and getting slapped was one of the biggest moments ever from the show, and played over and over. Today the same situation would/was completely edited out. Smh.

pretty sure PR said similar things for why rw ny isnt happening

Omg you're only 32 why did I think you were like kvm's age lmao. You have so much wisdom on here now I wont call you an old hag when im mad at you lol.

Anyways I cant believe I havent watched the iconic vegas season to this day. Maybe I'll start with that one first. I think I've only seen a clip of a threesome in a hottub with trishelle and others. Would be eye opening to see past seasons like you said on the topics of race and lgbt issues because those topics will not fly today you would get cancelled in a heartbeat if that was on tv now.

Brooklyn and DC are probably my least favorite seasons.

Brooklyn and DC are probably my least favorite seasons.

DC would be fun just because Ashley is one of the best Real Worlders of all time and it's criminal we've only seen her on one show

Who do you think the hold outs would be from B2NY? Nicole and Rachel?

The Las Vegas boss was incredibly creepy and I got so skeeved out rewatching it that I just stopped. It would be interesting to hear the cast talk about that although Idk if production would even bring that up.

Hopefully they keep moving Vegas further back.  The only person I'm interested in seeing is Arissa.

I would love to see Irulan. She's been off the radar for a while

Didn't Mike have a tv show?

I bet they would. That's what I'm loving about Homecoming, they have the tough conversations.

Is Chicago completely out of the question? I know Tonya sued MTV but Farrah sued them too and returned for EOTB and Teen Mon Retreat. Aneesa is still doing the regular show, Kyle is a celebrity(ish) and said he would love to return. Cara is on QVC a lot so she isn't opposed to tv. Chicago would be a big get for them I think.

I'd love if they did a Road Rules season too, this is honestly my favorite show: the first two seasons are A+
