WOTW2 was a season that got better with time after what became of the franchise after it. At the time, it didn't hold up because this show wasn't the ******** it is now just yet. I honestly feel like you have to like Tori and Jordan to like WOTW2. The alliance in control for the US are awful people with the exception of Kam (yes, I don't like her but she's not a bad person) and Nany. The "World" team allowed their worst players run the game other than CT. It's really tough to watch. I'll give you it's better than the past 3 seasons but isn't everything?
I know not everything likes The Ruins-Cutthroat but those seasons were the perfect length of time. Invasion was the last season that didn't seem like it lasted 6 months
We are the super fans and if we are over it by episode 13 you know the casuals are. I'd much rather have more new seasons than just one drawn out one. Especially if they are going the no drama and shitty casting route, twenty-two 90 minutes episodes is painful. They don't have the content or cast to do that. Blows my mind that people get paid so well to be so stupid.
I did NOT like FR while it was airing but i enjoyed it a lot on my rewatch the drama is too tier the competition however...eh
Yes! I bet it was frustrating to watch week-to-week live. You probably have to binge it like I did in order to enjoy it. Sloppy format, true, but non-stop, guilty pleasure entertainment. Davonne and Shane really bring it. lol. And, I'm sorry, but the ending had me dying. (And the uncensored version Marie posted is a hoot too.)

Yeah, I knew the Island had to be if not the shortest, one of the shortest seasons ever. lol. And the episodes were only 30 minutes long at the time!
Incorrect, The Island was an hour long. The Gauntlet 3 was the first season with hour long episodes (although it appears to have been filmed with the intent of being 30 minute episodes) and that was the season before.

& the ratings were horrendous at the time it was airing. MTV wasn't dead as it's now it was pulling good number then that season happenned.
The Island was by far the worst season of the show. No one on it was likeable, there were no competitions, it came off as a bootleg version of Survivor but with drunk 20 year olds, and all of the unlikeable people won pretty easily without really having to do anything.

WOTW2 was great story wise. Aside from the greatness that is Laurel, one "villain" side dominating the whole game and making the "heroes" go in multiple times. For then the "heroes" to switch sides and basically win the whole thing. Couldn't have written a better story.
Also there was constant drama during every deliberation. Honestly might be top 5 season for me but I've only seen it once.

Jordan was the only "hero" that won the game and Jordan's not a hero. CT, Dee and Rogan were 100% aligned with the villains throughout. I really don't understand the love for it. The only "good" moment in the show was Joss and Kayleigh losing.

These seasons that last 20 episodes get old quick to me. I preferred more condense seasons like they used to make them.
Especially since we now get longer episodes it should be easier to have less episodes.
Agreed--some of the old seasons had 18 or so but those were 30 minute episodes not 60-90

i know it turned toxic, but why shouldnt they do the island 2? that format is great.

they should keep the format but not put it on an island then. the idea of needing a team of 4 for the final and stealing keys or whatever is good
