Nelson has done 8 challenges and never won. Only made the final twice. He's averaging 1 daily win a season. I'll give you that his elimination record aint bad. He's still lost 5/14 times so let's not act like he's unbeatable. The debate though is that he never puts himself in a position to win.

Of the old tired vets he is probably the best other than CT, as a competitor give me Nelson everyday instead of Kyle, Cory, Josh or Devin

The format before where you got to choose any opponent to pair up for elimination was perfect for getting rid of ct and now with that midseason switch it was over. No one wants to get rid of ct in a team challenge and no one wants to call him out solo welp

CT biggest threat in that final was Kyle which is sad. Good for CT but sad that Kyle didn't do anything to try to take out a champ just to lose another final to a champ. Kyle will never learn his lesson. He probably would've won had CT not been in the picture
In his defense they think the final would be in teams. And he is in CT's team after last episode. Some kind of twist must've happened later on

If production would just stick to a format and actually be honest about it instead of making these conveniently suspicious twists, and actually have it last all season, maybe they wouldn't be scared to make moves.

This was Nelson's best season in a long time when it comes to his individual performance alone on daily challenges. He had been bombing them hard lately on recent seasons. But he was really good this season in just his performance alone. Even though he ultimately did not win any. Mostly due to how awful as a team Ruby was.

To his defense he only competed in that era where it was almost always team challenges. He made it to the final on Dirty 30, an individual season and he has some good elimination wins. Definitely not a all time greats but he's better than most competitors this show got
