Episode 11 I am assumming they are talking about Ed volunteering for Logan which I was told back then it was noble on his part but I also heard after the show ppl though he was playing mind games with some of them...I always think when ppl volunteer is dumb and makes for boring Tv
I liked when Nelson did it for Cory, but why would Ed do it for someone he just met? Lol
I can't believe we are only at the halfway point, and the next couple eliminations are not only single eliminations, but all rookies as well.....AGAIN. Priscilla/Ed/Bettina, im tired

So they are doing a 1 hour 30 minute episode just to do one girl elimination (Priscilla) and then next week's 1 hour 30 minute episode has 1 guy elimination (Ed)? It's just too stretched out. Too much filler.

I feel like this week's episode being 90 minutes is justified though because they have to show the three teams being formed and the new team dynamics

Wait I missed PR saying Ed volunteered in place of Logan ********** what a flop! And the fact that Logan still gets eliminated later in the season anyways

I've seen them do a hell of a lot of things on Challenges in 60 minutes which were perfectly timed instead of dragged or rushed. So I say 90 minutes is not justified, especially for a non-premiere episode and especially with one elimination. Hell, there was a time the Challenges were doing a lot in 30 minutes. 60 to me is the perfect length.

I think the main reason for MTV ordering the episode amount and length for the Challenge is because of advertisements and sponsors.
But for us viewers, there's not enough content or substance to justify it. Fans did complain when they would do the constant tbc episodes so maybe that was their way of rectifying that but if half the episode is constant explosions what's the point?
Its like they are still using the same formula but just stretching it out. We still hardly see some people, when ransoms all of a sudden DO get screw time it's obvious they are going into elimination, we don't get back stories of why certain events occur, no build up etc
Yeah, editing and the narrative is too thin for such a long season that all viewers get is fatigue or at least its a strong possibility.
You have an influx of new people in these recent seasons, I'm sure there's a bunch of new storylines they can string together pretty naturally, but they just spend the extra time shoving the same tired faces...
Not only the constant explosions, but the unnecessary slow montages of them walking up to the daily or working out. It is clear as day how theyre trying to stretch the footage because there's not enough quality entertainment. Yet there are things happening but we don't get to see them.
isnt this thing airing all the until the end of the year too?!

its so weird that they even need to stretch the episodes and have filler scenes because they already cut out so much drama that's on camera. like just put all that in??? you already have enough footage??
the sad thing is, there probably is entertaining moments that they just refuse to show lol.
Like Gucci said, they definitely use this 90 minutes to get as much commercial/sponsorship as possible.. Last week I was fast forwarding thru the last segment of commercials and the episode segment was so small that it jumped right to the ending and almost deleted my recording lol.
60 min would be fine they just need to shorten the missions and eliminations. They are drug out wayyyyyyy too long. It's so boring especially the corny missions they do.

IDK why the missions feel so much longer because a lot of them have relatively simple concepts that wouldn't take long??? It's weird.
Casuals want gold skulls back lmaooo
They really chose the worst format to use after getting rid of skulls. Now we're never gonna stop hearing about vets sliding to the end. I bet they'd shut up if they brought back last-place teams.

Why are they waiting so late to film the reunion
Oh wait nvm it's at the end of the month not November lmaoo
The amanda and fessy thing blew up faster than I expected... just in time for the reunion too
There's still plenty of time, we only just reached the halfway point.
And just in time for Amanda/Fessy to breakup.
do we know what the new format is starting wednesday?
3 teams if I am not wrong

Camille the best poster after KEKbruh.
Honestly, those 30 minute episodes were the best

Also there was a Tacha titan who attacked gamer for his Berna slander
