Because society has a history of looking at Middle-Eastern men as dangerous and violent. I think that played a role in him getting kicked off. Had it been CT who shoved him I don't think he would have been booted.

I think it definitely depends on the delivery of what she said and how she meant it because Josh shouldn't be offended being called gay. However, if Ashley meant it as an insult then that's not great. I just hope they don't edit her out of the season and that they show her comment so we can make that judgement.

Production probably asked both Fessy and Josh if they felt comfortable/safe with the other there and only Josh said no so Fessy is the one that left.
