yeah in today's league you need a perimeter game. Problem is Giannis has no post up game as well. He's just freakishly athletic but lacks fundamentals. I also think Khris Middleton is not good enough to be a 2nd option on a championship team. The bucks are running out of time on a championship run and it's looking more and more like Giannis needs a better set of players around him that complement his style of play.

I think the problem is more Giannis himself and the fact he is not a 1 on a true championship contender. You can win with Middleton and Jrue Holiday as your 2 and 3 because they space the floor and are legit defensive players. But when you cannot rely on your best player. your franchise late in close playoff games when the rim is walled off? That is on him. They do have a perfect team around him because it is all floor spacers. Even the center Brook Lopez can splash. This is on Giannis.
The NBA said they are planning to start playoffs in June. Obviously it will be a shorter version.
