Yeah I think half is probably a good number for season 2 honestly. They need a core and hopefully that core does 4 out of 6 each or something along those lines.
It should be noted that Jonna's exact words were " I heard only half of the original cast is coming back. They want as many people back from the first season as they can get. Not all of them are available or have turned it down."
why are they trying to repeat so much of the first season cast? Half of them, ehhh okay. Not ideal for my liking but I can handle it. But as many people as possible? This is exactly what theyre doing wrong on the regular seasons. You need to rotate cast for new dynamics for gameplay and drama. On the normal seasons, its all too predictable even without spoilers. We know who always aligns, who excels at certain skills, who is horrible at other skills, etc. I hate how predictable the show has become.

And while it may be half the cast is new All Stars, if they continue the cycle of repeating casting, it will all be more of the same within a few seasons. I'd love to see some people from season 1 be on future seasons, but limited numbers per season. Not the majority of the cast. If over 100 people have shown interest, there is no reason to dedicate majority of the cast from season 1 to next season.
I have a feeling Landon will be on season 2 if they are not required to do quarantine now that mostly everyone is vaccinated and the filming schedule remains shorter.

The two realest girls on this cast. Even stuck up for the bullied girl against girls they were cool with instead of bandwagoning. But then people forget Jonna was meangirl'ed in the beginning of Cancun and KellyAnne was bullied/outcasted in her early challenges, so they know what it feels like.
Can we talk about how Jonna murdered that final? We heard KellyAnne got 3rd, but Jonna did too and she played this season 7 months post partum. Im so proud of her and so happy for her.

Also excited that August is the potential filming time. I guessed that would be the earliest filming would start for season 2.
Hopefully they continue going to sunny and beautiful locations. I would love it if the locations of all stars is better than the main shows locations.
Forgot to also say that Jonna said she replaced Jasmine on Season 1. Jaz was cast but had to drop out due to a family issue.
Hopefully the new additions aren't like Jonna/Jemmye era people. I'm going to keep my expectations low like last time. Lol
