Lio only quit bc of his struggles with addiction and everyone knows lolo is crazy and likely to quit. if they get the right athletes i guess they could bring it, but i doubt one would quit just because of the enviroment unless they ignore obvious red flags again.

I mean it's been surviving for quite a while.. it just seems like this show keeps going through phases as it evolves. But it's definitely picking up more viewers than anything. But if this OG All Star spinoff is a success, they may satisfy all parties by continuing to cast OGs in an old school challenge atmosphere, and the main show with it's more sports driven atmosphere.

I think what we're all looking for from the spinoff is a feeling of geniuneness, a sense of camraderie, and some messy drama. The main show around 2016-2018 changed from what was left of the fun party show that we grew up with to the ultra-competitive CT/Wes/Bananas/Aneesa + A Bunch of people rotatating in and out, weird explosion show that takes itself too seriously and is devoid of character moments. Casting on the main show also seems completely hijacked by Viacom and backwards in terms of who gets to come back and who doesn't. Why the **** is Josh the face of WOTW1 to keep coming back?
I think if the spinoff succeeds we are hoping that some fun faces like Cooke and Landon show up eventually even just for one small, two week season and never again.
Since this season is likely to be another movie theme, might as well speculate what it could be. Agents 2? Hunger Games? Game of Thrones? Clash of the Titans? Harry Potter?

On paper, Lio and Lolo are ideal athletes for The Challenge. They both have high energy, strong personalities, and can be ********. And obviously are great competitors.
I think people underestimate how much Covid Quarantine ****** with peoples mental state. We will probably be studying it's affects for decades to come. It's selfish of us to expect these people to give us a regular season of the show after their lives were turned upside down.

cause the casting is too careless and relies on stans to say something about cast members problematic issues + i'm bitter
So no spoilers but based on the lastest episode and the current list - it's possible that the reigning female champ from S36 could be on 37 (along with MAYBE Ashley, Cara, Jenny, Kendal) and then maybe the S36 male champ too (minus Leroy, if he goes on to win).
Not that this is super uncommon, but just interesting as we had the reigning champs from S35 sit out S36.

Id actually perfer it if we had a smaller cast this season, 28 people is too much when half of them dont do anything.
