Tbh I've been waiting for another black person to win this entire thing but let's be honest they've been given opportunities every season and always come in 2nd at best (Leroy, kam, cory), the show needs people that can actually win. Doesn't even seem like Darrell has it in him anymore to win either.
Not sure of the big reason he won, but bringing someone who seems like a genius AND is athletic is pretty dumb.

Any of Laterrain/Syrus/Nehemiah would have been better. Syrus Nehemiah especially since you're familiar with how they play vs. Yes who no one has heard of for 15 years
Kind of **** up in a way if you think about it the way they pitch them to a lot of them is that this was more of a laid back and fun show. But once they got there it was basically the exact same with a normal intense final lol
i hope there is something distinct with the editing/format that makes the stand out. It'd be lame if this is literally just the challenge with older cast members.
HAHAHAHA it's exactly as I said the other day. Yes still had a chance since it seemed like he had a brain, unlike 75% of the finalists and him winning would be the perfect FU to how the season unfolded. No one expected him to win from the get go and it looks like he destroyed it. Good for him.

This is EXACTLY what I had been saying since it came out how the season was unfolding. I'm sure people like Mark and Derrick loved it, but a large chunk of the cast, especially the girls, for certain are going to hate what the actual competitions were like. That's also why seeing a handful of "newer" faces, especially ones who only bring drama, dilutes it too. Cuz you know next season they're gonna dip into that pool even more and a lot of these people from the first season ain't gonna come back again for this. But now the expectations are set and going backwards probably won't work.

Also can we just take in the fact that Jonna finally made a final? She has been the last female eliminated twice, and the second to last female eliminated twice, and our girl finally broke her curse. And with a beautiful family back home.

Unfortunately it sounds like there may have been some purges/twists/eliminations along the way so I don't think it's confirmed she ran the final unless I missed something.

- Dirty 30 purged out on the first challenge and flopped in the redemption challenge against Tony.
