I have never seen a season with Ruthie, how was her in competitions?
shes decent but her social strategy game is amazing. not shocked at all she got to the end
Decent? No one has had a better showing in a single season than Ruthie did on Sexes I. No woman has eclipsed that performance imo. Does that make her the best competitor? Absolutely not, but that was what makes her still relevant is that season's performance. She's a great competitor, she's just so small she sucks at anything that requires brute strength. If Battle of the Sexes included eliminations Ruthie wouldn't have made it halfway i don't think lol

Name a strategic move by Ruthie that she didn't say she regretted 15 minutes later. Veronica wasn't strategic--it was her being manipulated by Emily. On Sexes the one time they had power she screwed up by getting rid of Cynthia then got outstrategized by Coral at the end. Ruthie is one of my all time favorites. An amazing story. But a strategist she was not. On G2 she couldn't convince the team not to send in Beth who she didn't want to go in. On Duel 2 she foolishly called out Kimberly instead of an injured Jenn, Paula or Diem. Strategy was not Ruthie's strength. Her ability to compete was--she'd be the first to say this

Read what the stan wrote again--she dominated physically not strategically. Ruthie's season was arguably the best ever--the words they wrote tell a different story and it's a false narrative.
I'm surprised more people aren't more excited about the possibility of Jonna actually making a final. She was someone I always wanted to see in a final as she's pretty well suited for it (good at puzzles, good runner). Her and KA are probably the favorites to win if it's a straight up individual thing
Think we can confidently say that Mark, Derrick, and Darrell have ran the season just like everyone expected lol. I thought Nehemiah could be the one to shake up that trio (if Alton was working with them as well).

It's true. Ruthie was a dominant force on Battle of the Sexes. But when it came to strategy, she could not handle it.
