I'm shocked this many people care this much about Beth. I love Beth but never thought she'd make it to the end unless she won a lot of eliminations. I do think she's probably one of the stronger competitors even at her age but Beth gets on people's nerves.

The more people in a final the more camera crews that are needed to capture a coherent story. Easier to continuing to eliminate more on yesterday and Tuesday ahead of a final elimination. In a near-perfect world count on 1.5 camera crews for every 2 people competing, and you're still going to miss stuff. BMP's crew budget isn't that big.
Not that many will care, but "old think," using past challenges as prologue for this OG challenge, is probably going to result in many challenge diehard viewers being shocked. Assumptions about who is going to allign with whom, who harbors ill will for something that might have only been a TV story line moment over a decade ago, or more recent podcast posturing is not likely to deliver the expected results. Most of this cast have become adults by maturity, if not by age. People you expect to oppose each other might actually have grown to appreciate and respect each other. I expect to see a lot more "real" and less "TV Character/drama" stuff on this show. Leave all that other junk for the regular challenge seasons -- they're welcome to it.Can't believe I'm saying this... it looks like BMP & MTV have done this very well with the cast that was untimately available to them, and with the mix of people they wanted. I'm sure they wanted more "OGs" from the first few seasons, but COVID-19 and the timing (the Paramount+ rollout) just wasn't right for some potential cast. Props also to Julie Pizzi at BMP. She has brought life back to BMP with forethought and very worthy decision-making. I'm sure she is already thinking about season 2 casting. You and she probably want the same people.

What? The Inferno, Gauntlet, Inferno 2, Gauntlet 3 etc all had large teams and they looked fine.

Depends where Big Easy is, but other than Katie RR looks strong.
Still see them doing a purge but we'll see... it's actually a pretty close finals matchup if Big Easy is on the RR team.
it definitely is not RW vs RR bc there was 13 RW 8 RR and Big Easy to start, so those teams wouldn't be even

They used to run big team finals when they had a smaller budget. You would think nowadays they would be even better equipped to film one
