They didn't date. Beth simply met Clooney when she was having dinner at Cipriani Downtown in NYC the night before a challenge reunion show taping. They were seated at adjacent tables, acknowledged each other while seated, and spoke for about ten minutes outside as the two groups departed. Clooney said he recognized her from the Challenge, a show he regularly watched when on location for a movie. He asked about some cast members and how the show was produced. Beth told him about the job she had when she was cast for RW-- working as the PA to Axel Rose at "Guns and Roses." Beth asked him about a couple of his roles and his next project. They each went their separate ways. Just a very cool, casual conversation for Beth.
Ace said he wants to do the main show again.. and this probably isn't helping his chances. ACE FOR S37!
For MTV it's about being good TV. If he has good camera time and good viewer reaction to him, that is far more important than winning as it relates to future casting.
