True, the prize is right so I can't fault them there. But at some point it becomes sad and a little pathetic that he spends so much time making podcasts and inserting himself into the Challenge world when (before this show), it was very clear they didn't want him lol
Oh it's definitely pathetic that Derrick's life is this show and they wont' cast him for a regular season. Especially given some of the other people they cast. Of course, they rejected Darrell 6 straight seasons too according to him which is insane.

Maybe dumb theory, but what if the younger people (Kellyanne, Nehemiah, maybe even Annessa) know they are here just here as alternates if the main cast couldn't do it, and if they don't get on the OG show they would make them part of S37.
Kind of like how Amber B. was in quarantine for BB:AS and when they didn't use her ended un in The Challenge. I want to remember Gamer saying David had kind of the same contract and that if they didn't use him for All Star would have done The Challenge.
I love KA and really like Cohutta but do agree they're a little out of place here. If production really likes them then just throw them on the main show.

Darrell is always a nice presence and has some funny confessionals. He doesn't need to be a star to add value to the show. He's an excellent/rootable background character imo.

I believe PR said there were 4 to 6 names before the revealed Cohutta. So maybe about 3 to 5 names left.

Yeah we have 11 women and 12 men so far so I'm guessing 13 or 14 of each including alternates
I was 100% expecting Eric Nies to be on this but given the other project it now makes sense
