I'm fine with Jonna and Jasmine. Sure their season was 10 years ago but tbh, production is probably gonna consider them OG's Bc the OGs we all truly want probably don't have an interest or have other factors that are gonna keep them away. But hopefully we get ppl like Irulan and Rachel next season. I foresee this doing well, possibly better than the regular seasons.
I KNEW MTV would screw this up at some point. I thought Austin and Fresh Meat were pushing it, now ******* Cancun is being considered OG? Their first eligible season was Fresh Meat 2. Not even an original themed season lol. My guess is they're pulling from "newer" seasons because they still want a "young-ish" cast when it comes to the women. We all know that's how they are.
They want their women to be recent ish and they'll settle with older men though. Honestly I wouldn't want both Jaz & Jonna on together I feel like they've done so many shows together that it'll be wasting spots on a good oldie that wanted to participate. I feel like they should save like only three spots per gender for recent (recent being Denver - Rivals)
If this is mostly OGs I see them targeting people like Kellyanne first which could be interesting cause Kellyanne will probably be one of the strongest players.
The sound of "targeting" on this just sounds.. odd? I don't know what I'm expecting but I can't see legit eliminations and difficult challenges, or real strategizing either. Idk, maybe it's just me. I'm afraid it's going to be super watered down and mostly carnival games or kind of like that Spring Break Challenge.

You're setting yourself up for disappointment. Nostagia sells but it doesn't always work. I see them doing around the same as the other 3 spinoff or a little higher atleast for episode 1 of it airs right after double agents. Then the casuals would be complaining about them not knowing them or some of them being to old.

The regular seasons don't even do that well so it probably wouldn't be hard to beat let's be real
Clearly someone doesn't know how ratings works. The regulars season does pretty well especially on the target demo (the most important one) on the past 6-7 seasons it always been on the top 1-5 spots on cable for the day it airs.
In order for this to work they need to know how promote this to make late 30s-50s year olds appealing to the target demo.

KellyAnne was one of my favorite castmembers ever back on Island/Ruins. Probably one of the most rootable underdog stories both seasons. I hope she brings that Island/Ruins/Vendettas alternate energy, because if she brings her Bloodlines/Rivals 3 energy then they can offically lose her number
Now that I sit back and think about real world cancun and sydney are over 11 and 13 years old at this point...yall acting as if they are casting people from real world explosion like cory lol. Let the hate go we are still getting some OG's they just need some of the cast to be young/more recent to get good ratings.
Hopefully we'll see them. Otherwise eventhough they try their hardest, but this show can't be called OG show without at least 4 of them. To me.
If Jasmine/Jonna/CJ ends on this, i can pretty much see who was in charge of casting but it's sad if you only have 20-24 spots and then waste at least three of them to people that have no business on this. KellyAnne goes in the same category. Big Easy is debatable because he did shows where most of the real OG were around. Everyone else is unnessasary.
I hope the missions are more basic and fun and exciting than they are now.
