Coral, Katie and Beth were targets because they weren't sheep to Evan, Kenny and that entire mob. Remember Casey acting like sacrificing herself was noble for the team when she should have been gone since day 1. Never gets tiring seeing that Vets team fail. One of the most despicable unlikeable teams ever put together, from top to bottom.
Which is weird though because Coral was absolutely 100% team Evan. She wasn't ever going to turn on them.
Both teams were pretty dislikable that season. When you find yourself kid of rooting for Frank there's a problem.
I honestly forgot just how bad the "trim the fat", "girls are useless" **** was.
ugh the Trim the fat thing was the worst. I remember Coral even saying at the reuninon 'Who says that!?!' - they took Adam Larson's thinking from the original Gauntlet and made it 20 x's worse which I didn't think was possible.
Coral could be really impressive or Katie-level bad, it just depended on the mission. Thankfully she had skills of persuasion to counteract her inconsistent track record.

I think had she not had the battle with spider take her out they would have won. <3 I'm happy road rules won (minus Adam). Queen Elka's final season...after the drama, and how good she performed I'm shocked she never ever got another availability call for future seasons.

She was decent on Inferno, essential on BOTS2, dominated on Fresh Meat and didn't deserve to get targeted on G3 whatsoever - she was clearly their female leader in all aspects while Evelyn was just the brawns, and then they screwed her.

so many one hit wonders that season too: Sarah the Gauntlet Queen, Rachel from B2NY, Irulan, ugh I loved that cast. And that song, Rockstar by Ilkid...not on iTunes sadly lol. I did find the battle of the sexes 2 theme on iTunes, I still love that one 'come out fighting'.
I miss the cheesy fun opening credits. Even the bad ones were great...they need to bring those back ASAP.

It really was so much different and there were so many people worth rooting for. Roni beating the Miz was one of my favorite moments. Rachel B losing was one of my least. Veronica being the top performer for Road Rules twice still makes me smile.

this describes my feelings perfectly on how I look at it. These new seasons don't hold a candle to how entertaining and fun it was back when it was RW vs RR. I'm still holding out a glimmer of hope that something will come of Mark Long's idea.
She still looks amazing too. She would be one I know they would never reach out to but I wish they did. As of like a year or two ago she said she still watches the show. I would have loved to see her on a Sexes or Duel season. Or if they ever do a Seasons again and make it pairs, throw in Syrus and we got a team lol

it wasn't funny. It was easily one of the top three worst eliminations ever. The only good thing was Big Easy went home and they both got slapped.
Maybe I find it funny because I grew up watching The Three Stooges and people getting slapped is hilarious to me
