Considering that Mattie started to be sober only like a month or two before filming, I'm not surprised. Being in a normal challenge environment is hard in general, add on newfound sobriety and that is a whole other level. Idk how Dan did it on Cutthroat
game aside i really do hope mattie is doing alright out there. regardless of whether you're rooting for her or not, it must be really hard going through those conditions after just getting off of sobriety.
also, where her hometown is, she's probably not at all used to this cold weather. it doesn't even ever snow where she's from.

lol i think she would be great on the challenge. Super competitive and fiesty. With the Challenge, unlike Big Brother, production can easily remove any unsavory commentary from cast members. Who knows what people have done over the years, although if anything racist happened the cast on the Challenge is much more likely to lambast that person which could also be entertaining.

I was stoked for this female cast, should be great competitively (especially with two rookies and annoying Ashley out already) but with the living conditions, it sucks to think someone could be ready physically but their mental state suffers all because of this apocalypse shit.
I said it before and I'll say it again, the living conditions don't need to go along with the theme. Make the challenges and eliminations and decor apocalypse theme, don't take away their house.
