i know there's a lot to go into it, but let's not act like turbo isn't annoying with his constant flips and kicks. I would be pissed too if we as a team were trying to decide something and he was over in the corner jerking off with a statue.

Euuuuh, it's not that serious.

Unless it was during the mission itself, I won't give a flying **** him about fighting with statues and shit...

nah, it is kind of annoying. Dude doesn't need to be kicking statues. Is he 12?

Agreed.  I would be telling to him sit his *** down too.  From behind a safe barricade of security guards of course.

Why would you care ?? Especially after he did his kicks away from Jordan... You'll only be bothered and annoyed if you cared

Supposedly production asked him to do it. They do like to edit in his victory punches etc.

And even so, why would you be so bothered to scream and then run up to his face? Like who cares let him live.

The thing with Turbo is there’s obviously a huge cultural barrier not only between him and the rest of the cast but also how the viewers perceive him. Everyone judges him based on if he were someone from the US/UK and he’s not. He’s from a different country with its own culture - not to mention also an obvious language barrier leading to a lot of misinterpretation of what the rest of the cast is saying and their intent as well.

It's not about caring. It's about the team was discussing who would be speaker and he's off ******* around. If you've ever been apart of a team you'd find it annoying. I get Jordan overacted but doesn't change the fact turbo was being annoying

THANKS. Finally someone understands it.

A lot of fans from this show (Vevmo or casuals) can come across as very self-centered, quite ignorant and borderline xenophobic.

because turbo doesn’t give af. He’s not in danger of going in while tori and Jordan are. So of course they’re freaking out but to him, he won the challenge and was fine and doing what production asked so for Jordan to run up like that was majorly disrespectful and I don’t see how you don’t see that.

Also agreed to the whole cultural barrier thing.

Some of y'all have to stop acting like Turbo's antics won't annoy the **** out of you after a certain time when y'all get your panties in a bunch the minute, someone, slightly disagrees with your pov. lmao.

Kinda agree with this. I'd be annoyed too if we were trying to make a team decison and he was out doing that. Jordan went about it the wrong way because Turbo can be sensitive but if someone like Jordan or Bananas was doing random flips or kicking shit during a deliberation I feel like people would look at it differently.

Nope. I can't stand either Jordan or Bananus, yet I wouldn't give a **** what if they would have done kicks and stuff.

I don't like them anyway, so I wouldn't care at all.

This entire feud was blown way out of proportion like i still don't understand any of it

Soo true. Insert any other two guys in that situation and it wouldn't happen. Jordan can just be a **** sometimes and Turbo can be sensitive sometimes which caused the initial drama.

You know, I would be on Jordan's side IF Turbo did the kicks near to his face or beside him, while speaking to the group in the same time. Now that would have been annoying;

But him coming after Turbo while he did his kicks away from the group he was from was UNCALLED for, and for that, Turbo reacted the right way !

The kicks isn't what would **** me off. The talk about "not throwing stuff at people's head" after the crate mission would. Like bro it's a game and if I wanna throw a ball at your head I will.

Some of you people fake af turning on daddy Turbo like this.

You know to like someone you don’t have to agree with EVERYTHING they do and say that’s the problem with a lot of “ stans “ their fav can do nothing wrong in their eyes. Not saying Turbo is wrong or right just a general statement.

Jordan himself said he was pissed because he wanted Turbo to cast his vote against Paulie being in the tribunal or whatever it is called. Jordan was pissy because the numbers weren't on his side and Turbo was refusing to chose a side. Yelling at him and getting in his face isn't likely to get Turbo to be on Jordan's side. Total mistake by Jordan.

Exactly! Everyone has flaws but I still like Jordan and Turbo.

I’d let him choke me, there I said it.

LOL "cultural barrier."  The dude's from Turkey, not Uranus.  Kicking statues and karate-ing in circles isn't some sacred cultural practice.  I personally couldn't care less if he does it, but this effort to pretend you're worldly is hilarious.

The language barrier is a significant handicap though. I mean his accent is funny and the way he says things (like pausing before talking about Nany's "*******") but according to Nany he didn't understand the phrase "taking advantage of" so it's clear that there is a communication barrier that is exacerbating an already volatile situation.

I think that the cultural norm aspect comes into play when talking about honor, disrespect, going back on your word, and various fake shit for tv that might not be perceived as fake on the other side. For all we know they can kill people for what US people deem trivial. I don't think that this can be simply and blanketly blamed on Turbo being "too sensitive"

FACTS. But aren't Americans chocked about Asians killing whales and eating dogs and cats ??? Aren't Arabs feeling that women dressed in skirts and short dresses are dirty and evil (for a lack of better terms) ???

See, that's what we call a cultural shock. What is normal and trivial for some civilizations, aren't for others and vice versa.

In America, nobody really cares about honor, in Turkey it does (especially due to the Islamic culture). Turbo can't assimilate overnight. That's not how it works !!!
