Are Ashley and Nany the type of people who would call Georgia into elimination to try and prove her win against them last season was a fluke?Im kinda hoping Ashley and Georgia are somehow working together lol

Ashley's too rich to care about the past. Sis is looking towards the future.

Ashley solidifying her spot as the best current female competitor after she takes home her third win >>>>>>

Y’all hate to see it

Has anyone ever done this? Come on now

A win is a win. Doesn't matter how close it is

Why are you acting like someone even said it doesn't count..? People are definitely allowed to lose respect or gain respect for how someone competes in an elimination. I guess we aren't allowed to look at CJ is a good competitor because of how he performed against Zach on BotS2.

No one "loses respect" when they win.  No one.   A person can lose and gain respect--that is true but you can't win and lose respect--that's just dumb

The **** you cant. People sure as hell lost respect for Nany when she lost to Nia. People lost respect when Tony lost to Ammo, and I could keep going with a ton of examples. Happens all the time so honestly it's not dumb at all, don't know how that's even at all difficult to see.

Why are you citing examples of people losing?   The comment was "no one loses respect when they win".   You didn't provide a single example of that.  You provided two examples (one which doesn't even make sense) of people losing respect when they LOST.   So, again, yes, it's dumb.   Honestly, Nany lost respect for losing to Nia?   Did anyone really think before that elimination Nia could do that?   Watch The Ruins.   KellyAnne and Veronica really struggled.

I remember I lost some respect for Zach after “winning” against CJ. Only because I remember us all thinking Zach would absolutely demolish everyone in something physical given his size/looks/athlete past. So there’s that.

He still won, but I expected him to perform better.

I still think that was people underestimated CJ's athleticism and intelligence more than that meant anything about Zach.   Especially since Zach adjusted.   To me, Zach's lost respect when he lost to Jordan in the sledgehammer elimination

Jordan being down 3-0 to Ammo. Win but underperforming. Jenna taking an hour to take down Amanda.

Idk there are several instances of people who should have done way better despite them winning. I think that’s what they were trying to say.

Nicole Z barely winning against Amanda in something physical as well. Speaks to Amanda’s smarts/strategy but looks bad on Nicole cause she prides herself on being the strongest.

Jordan was struggling because he had one hand--something we always knew was going to hinder him

Jenna struggling with Amanda shocked someone?

Nicole didn't "barely" win but if you aren't giving the other person enough credit that shouldn't cause you to "lose respect" for Nicole.

This is honestly just a ridiculous argument that anyone believe that "barely" winning (which is opinion not fact) causes someone to lose "respect" as a compeitior.

Nicole who lifts everyday and was in the real world house doing pull ups everywhere vs Amanda who I promise you can’t do 1 pull-up and probably does some cardio and light weightlifting going 1-0 and then barely losing the last round absolutely should make you lose some respect for Nicole. She should be able to (no disrespect intended) manhandle these girls but couldn’t handle little Amanda.

But once again, there’s no use in arguing with you because you won’t even concede on the stupidest of arguments which is why no one likes to discuss anything with you.

Wow, that’s a good point, I didn’t think of it that way. I don’t fully agree as a win is a win but I see your point.

See it’s not that hard Kevin^ lmaoo

We disagree that Nicole struggled with Amanda one on one. Completely disagree.

This is like people not comprehending that CT was at a disadvantage last season going against two people focused on him

Next someone is going to use Darrell vs Danny on The Ruins or Laurel vs Camila on Cutthroat.

If you or someone else actually lost respect for someone when they won that's on you.

paulie lost the purge because he tried to 100% speed it.hunter might have tried 100%,but wes has the brains & would have used forethought & knew 1st doesnt matter, but last sends you home.paulie's ego & lack of brains got in his way & thats why wes got 3rd = brains

Actually a lot of why Paulie lost was because of where he was jumping on the rope; he wasn't getting a good swing across because he was too low. One of the other contestants even said that they all learned from him about where to grab the rope. Notice Paulie got across on his third try when he grabbed higher, but he was too spent at that point to finish. Additionally, Wes also acknowledged that watching Paulie helped him see how to pace himself: https://twitter.com/WestonBergmann/status/1126309069747380224

Had someone else gone first and Paulie learned how to manage the rope and maybe pace himself, he likely would have had a much better result (and conversely, had someone else gone first they likely wouldn't have done as well as they did). Anyway, that's how it goes, but my only point is I don't think you can hold that purge against him as a competitor

I thini I recall paulie &/or cara mentioned being too aggressive & trying to get 1st did him in. not knowing it was a purge & you dont need 1st. cant recall who said that, but I belive he was doomed whether he went 1st or last. he had always tried to out do everybody

This would be like if CT instead of backpacking Backpack but on the ground struggling with him for an hour. Did he win? Yes. But should he on paper destroy him? Yes and not doing that well would’ve made him look bad.

Laurel vs Camila wasn’t physical. It was a strategy Elim that both are good at so it wasn’t a surprise that it was close. Those aren’t good examples.

Assuming that the eliminations schedule is the same, I think 2 more people are probably out. Hoping its Kyle and Tori.

The weather has messed up the schedule

yea isn’t it the really bad rainy season in Thailand?  Idk why BMP/MTV is so obsessed with Thailand, it’s the new Mexico

Cheap to flim there probably

I think they film other than the US, because of the court system.with all the rape & other issues, they can pay off the corrupt foreign countries.

LMAO--there's no style points--the ONLY objective is to win.  It doesn't have to be impressive.  There's no logic in saying "they won but they should have won easier"....that's something that someone that has never been a competitor would say.   Truthfully, this is like people that don't seem to comprehend the objective is to avoid eliminations so they constantly complain that someone like Cara doesn't get called out.  That's strategy.  Danny won a round against Darrell in a physical elimination.  Darrell, a true competitor, didn't overreact, he had that to play with.  Again, the only objective is TO WIN.   If you lose respect for someone when they win...that's awesome...it's insanely ridiculous but do you.

Once again, this is why no one bothers discussing anything with you

All CT's slow *** had to do was let go of one of the rings lmaooooo we still making excuses for that beached whale? What's going to be the excuse this season? Lol

Why do people keep thinking that if he just dropped a ring that it would have just reset?   There's no facts behind that but, let's say you're right, that's all about him lacking strategy.  What's the beached whale comment for in that regard?   CT probably flopped this season.  I'm okay with that but the comment was about people, which apparently includes you, not comprehending why he was at a disadvantage there.  Disadvantages happen all the time in competition.  It's a reality--the objective is to overcome it--he failed.

Jordan vs ammo  was 3-0 but it was tough for Jordan because you had to peel the patch off each other’s body with ur hands... Jordan only has one band. He said he had to use his mouth to peel some off. He still won tho.

Once again, this is why no one bothers discussing anything with you

Right, because you claim i don't concede anything which is exactly what you don't do.  The sad reality of this board is over the past 5-8 year is that if you don't like/hate the right people you're attacked.  That's all it is.

Honestly, have you ever played a competitive sport at a high level?   Simple question.  If so, what and at what level...

Simple, right?  But, no, apparently deeper lost respect for him because using logic is too complicated.

Dxactly. Don’t know why that was so hard to comprehend lol.

Club soccer (means traveling/highest level) until 18.

Simple example: If I was on a U18 division 1 traveling team, it would be embarrassing if a U13 team or better yet, a team of people who have never played soccer even scored a point against us or if we were losing a good portion of the game. Did we win? Yes. Would our coach be POed and screaming at us after the game and should we be disappointed and embarrassed? Yes.

Thats a simple point and if you don’t understand that then we can just move on.

That was actually my mistake for using those examples, I wasn’t thinking. I meant there have have people who won eliminations that should’ve really performed much better, like my original comment with Zach vs. CJ. And I’m not underestimating CJ.. but Zach could’ve and should’ve done what he did the very lost round.

Jordan vs ammo  was 3-0 but it was tough for Jordan because you had to peel the patch off each other’s body with ur hands... Jordan only has one band. He said he had to use his mouth to peel some off. He still won tho.

Jordan is excusable and maybe not the best example because of his handicap but the rest of my examples still hold true and there’s plenty more.

But no future team would lose "respect" for you.   You if found a way to win, something great teams and competitors do when not at their best, you regroup and correct your mistakes.   Right?   There's a difference between saying someone should be disappointed with their performance and saying, as a viewer, that you "lost respect for them".

I played Junior Hockey in Canada--2nd tier--through the age of 20.   Yeah, sure, even the best players (many who have since played in the NHL) had bad games and great teams struggled with lesser opponents but when you say you "lost respect" for someone for struggling that, JMO, isn't grasping competition because, anyone can lose.

The Jordan-Ammo argument (and I hate Jordan more than pretty much anyone) is ridiculous because there's logic as to why he struggled.  I hate to admit it but Jordan deserves credit for overcoming his shortcomings there.

Doesn’t even matter, because it doesn’t have to do with the upcoming season. But it’s simply facts that even winning an elimination or a competition, respect can be lost. It’s like if the Patriots played their best but only beat a high school team by a touchdown. You gain respect for the high schoolers but lose respect for the Patriots. Not a hard concept to grasp and I’m sure as hell not continuing to try and explain it to someone who can never be wrong or allow someone else to have an opinion, and before you ask my competitive background, three sport letterman in high school/Division 1 college baseball, but back to spoilers!

I hope Nany finally gets a win lol. I’m in the minority who’s rooting for her and Tori. I’m still concerned with PR being so sure that Zach is making the final, he either has a good alliance or is performing well. Either way.. blah.
