Exactly what vet were they protected by? If anything the Vets were protected by the UK kids because everyone wanted in on that alliance.
There was protection going both ways lbr.
Hunter, Cara, and Kam all had protection through other vets because of relationships and friendships. Day seemed to have the weakest connection which is why Bear was one of the first targested even though Theo was obviously the biggest threat (Theo winning a lot helped obvs but they weren't even nominated when they didn't win).
I mean, the main UK alliance never has more than one person from their group in the tribunal at the same time except for the final pairs comp, so the numbers could have been against them easily if the vets with most of them didn't also have other vet connections.

Between Johnny making jokes about tape gate and Bear trying to film up her dress, this reunion sounds terrible for Amanda so far. Like wtf is up with MTV and the men they cast.
