No you’re not, because it honestly doesn’t matter. I’m a massive fan and it doesn’t make a difference. Like gamer said, it’d be cool to see a location like Gabon again and something off the beach, but that’s not that big of a deal.People act like the location would change the game so much when there’s actually a few changes they could make to the game in Fiji and it’d have the same exact impact.
Ask the Koh rong folks if location makes a difference lol. Especially Caleb. Of course it does, weather, heat, availability of food, they said on Gabon they had leeches in the lakes and had to resort to eating termites since there wasn't a large amount of fruit available, location matters a lot on survivor.
It doesn't make a difference when watching it though.
It absolutely makes a difference. The world is a big place. Location colors everything.
The show is about the game not the world. There's plenty of shows about the beauty of the world
The show is no longer about location which is why it feels so generic. There is almost nothing distinguishing between all the Fiji seasons. They just blend together.
I used to love the part in the finale when they would show the trailer for the next season and announce the location. We'd get those amazing cinematic views and be awestruck for a moment
Now they don't even bother because it's literally the same place. Instead they keep on coming up more convoluted twists in an attempt to keep things interesting - and it's not working. At least not for me.

I agree there's too many twists and advantages but I don't believe the lack of location changes has impacted that.
The cast is most memorable to me along with gameplay which is why the seasons dont usually blur together for me.
I miss when they would theme challenges and rewards off location, they used to do a great job of showing the culture of the place, they've been at Fiji for like 6 in a row and I feel like we haven't even seen a local. I might be forgetting something tho and we have but still. I'm not expecting them to leave Fiji but I do hope we at least get to see more than just the island the cast is on.
I definitely preferred it more when the location was the "theme" (Africa, Palau, China, Gabon, etc.) but it's not the end-all, be-all.Survivor Vanuatu through Heroes v.s. Villains >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Agree 100%. The seasons haven’t blended together at all, in my eyes. Each season has had a different theme, different casts with standout castmembers on each season, and completely different storylines and differentiators, both good and bad. The location has nothing to do with those things.
But I’m a massive Survivor fan so it’s easy for me to enjoy the game without the location bothering me.

I refuse to live in a world where Teresa and Shane weren't chosen by America. This was productions cast.
The cast would have been better if Shane and Teresa was on it.Shane could have replaced Keith or Varner and Teresa could have replaced Shirin or Monica. Ugh Stephanie V should have been on as well.
you're telling me that you didn't want to see another season of Varner making an *** out of himself!?
I was fine with Varner being on but he should have never been on Game Changers. Shane should have replaced Yvtes or Woo. T-Bird should have replaced Latasha. Neither Woo nor Latasha were there to win. If you don’t want to win, stay home.

Recency bias. People LOVED Cagayan and even though there was two seasons in between, the Cagayan crew were pretty much guaranteed to be on. There are a lot of reasons, like Michele vs. Aubry and the hype that Cambodia was bringing, but it was highly thought that Cagayan’s popularity was part of the reason Cambodia aired before Kaoh Rong even though they filmed after.
I’m pretty sure it aired before because of the fan voting aspect made them want to air it first. Woo shouldn’t have been in contention, he threw a million bucks away. That kind of attitude isn’t needed on an all-star season.
We need Second chances 2, Heroes Vs Villans 2, and Blood vs water 3. NO MORE GAME CHANGERS!
I'd have been fine with a lot of the game changers cast if they were on a second chance type season. But you can't call a season Game Changers and then have people like Debbie, Varner and Caleb out there. Plus it screws over the actual 'Game Changers' like Tony & Sandra when their targets are so massive since there's so many people who aren't threats at all.
Past Castaways trashing the new twists and advantages lol. Jeff needs to listen to the fans or cast actual people who'd play the game instead of an archetype cast we see every season.
The US production and editing team needs to take note on Australian Survivor. The only reason I love that series is because you can connect with the cast AND watch them play the game. The US should request an extra 30 minute so they can edit properly.

Watching Australian Survivor and the editing, gameplay, cast and challenges are 1000% better.
Season 2 is still iconic, even with the mediocre ending
Was this the season with Legendary Sarah and Michelle?
Which returning players do you think we get for season 40? I think Colby, Malcolm, Davie, and Christian.
It was
Christian won’t be back for awhile, he already said he can’t take time off from work for at least a couple years.
Thank god.

Considering the cast of Game Changers, I'm not about to complain about Second Chance's cast at all
Honestly lol that's what happens when production picks the cast

NO RICE. NO REWARD.
Make the survival thing part of the game again.

This season..
is friggen..
amazing.
Based on Rob’s latest podcast I think Abi is in the runninh for 40 and based on her random twitter activity I think Kimmi is also in the running.
I would recommend watching The Island with Bear Grylls if you want to see the survival aspect. Ive only seen season 2 but i remember really liking it.
