Exactly! People won’t tune out of a show they already been watching for a couple years because their favorite was eliminated early. They’ll keep watching out of habit.
The causals were satisfied the moment the editing went back to the way it once was. Bottom line i feel like that’s the only thing they truly cared about.
Also the drama on last season was WAY too annoying I actually found myself agreeing with them on that.

Agree on the drama part. I hated last season for that, because it was way too dragged out, that it became so annoying, I was over the whole TYB/LL vs. The Vets, and Devin vs. Johnny.
It’s doing consistent numbers which is always great and stable shows last longer because they’re reliable. I think FR was consistent but dropped periodically.
Again, the only way we'll ever know if certain people are needed or not is if they do something like seasons again...hopefully they do
I honestly feel like nobody brings a substantial amount of viewers to the show. IMO, fans are going to watch regardless.

They do ! I saw so many people liking Georgia, Dee, Turbo and even some of the Vets like Da’Vonne and Hunter are getting massive support from them.
